Another reason rap sucks, is because it is the music of filthy ignorant gun-wielding dipshits who think robberies are the only way to get paid. My favorite fitty cent lyric yo, "i'm off the chain, i'm better than ya brain, ja-ja-ja-ja-jee-you-NIT" Only time you'll ever catch me dancing to rap music is if i am uber wasted and a female wants me to dance with her. Even then I sometimes refuse cause rap is so shitty.

 

Jeez. People, we get it Gangsta Rap (which has been popular and in the mainstream for the past what... 15 odd years?) is about shooting people and pushing hoes and beating women, I think we've established that already...

There IS such a thing as UNDERGROUND/ALTERNATIVE rap. Which has nothing to do with the mainstream scene. It may be hard to comprehend, but try, PLEASE.

I doubt any of you have even considered that, and if you have you obviously haven't bothered to listen to it for the sake of this argument.

I'm sorry. I didn't realise the Cramps were the only band listened too. I listen to alot of different music. And I couldn't give a shit how simple the music is, it's catchy. That's what music's about.

I enjoy hiphop because it sounds good and the lyrics and music are crafted well. Which is the reason most people like music. It is obvious to everyone who frequents the rap forum, that the people bitching about how much rap sucks are completely ignorant when it comes to this specific genre.

As stated above, It may be a shock to most of you, but there are many rap/hip hop fans that strongly dislike fifty cent, eminem, etc. Try taking a dip into the underground rap world, and then your opinions would be regarded with much more validity. As most everyone can agree on, pop music is terrible, and this is the type of music most of you are referring to. Not one of us has entered the jam band threads complaining about the stupid drugged out heady dread kids that dance the night away on mdma ...
