why don't you quit? don't you think that will put more weight behind your decision, so people see it as an active choice; an act of protest, as opposed to "well that stupid vegan girl got fired for doing something stupid." which would make veganism look bad since you're such a vocal proponent of it...

at anyrate, we can't live without animals, im veggie but we can't live without meat eaters too, cows eat parts of grains that we can't digest, it would make more sense to severly limit the amount of animals we ingest but not destroy them altogether.

boogabah, you said those peaceful civilizations died out, and suggested that becasue they died out, then they didnt have the right way of thinking....well we've killed off lots of species through our actions as humans, does that mean that since the species we're too slow to adapt that they tehn didnt deserve to live? or how about cows not being smart enough to revolt agaisnt the slaughter we put them through, wouldnt that then suggest they deserve to die? in short i don't agree with that line of thinking......and the A+B blood type comment was soooo pretentious

 

where you getting this from? i just said that those people had a short lifespan.
selling meat is just one reason i don't like the job. i can't just quit. i have 3 kids i need to feed. i've been looking for a new job. nothing i'm qualifed for has come along yet.
and i highly doubt they'll fire me. i've done so many fucked up things and so have a few other employees.. they have only fired one person in the past 17 years as far as i know.

and i AM ab+ blood type.. whats wrong with saying that?
it seems everytime i say i don't eat animals i have to back it up and fight for it. i shouldn't have to.. but i've got a ton of reasons why i believe FOR ME it is the right thing.
