I hate fake hippies

I hear ya hippie,Dang those poser.Why don't we all tune in,turn on and and drop out,make love blah,blah,blah.We must stay true to thy self.Peace out.

 

ya who really know if there a hippy or not? just because they call themselfs that or someone else calls them a hippy does that really mean there a hippy? i have no idea!! i just go with the flow....

 

We are all human so why try to label someone by the type of threads they wair or what type of music they enjoy listening to?

I've been called a hippie,a crackhead,a burnout but you know what it doesn't matter because at the end of the day you know nothing seperates any of us from each other were all equal and were all on this journey together so quit hating on eachother and enjoy the ride!

I do blame alot of the label shit on society though thats why im trying to drop out and get rid of all my possesions so I can live free and just be myself.Fuck being another slave to society just because people tell you it makes you a better person all it does is deprive you of freedom and keeps you blind to the truth because your part of the illusion.

I can not say i am a hippie, i don't know what that entails. The only thing i do is love my friends and family and enjoy life.
hating is not cool, drains the goodness from you and makes you angry..
who cares if there are "fake" hippies, as long as theyre happy with themsevles and not hurting anyone, they are fine by me.

say man umm like i was readin through here and about this fake hippy stuff.. well i dont really care about that, but someone said zeppelins the poster band for posers.. and something like gd and phish were true hippy bandsi guess? i dunno dont quote me but anyways, i mean this comes up alot everyday for me, and well i think the beatles had just as much to do with the musical part of the hippy lifestyle.. now dont get the wrong idea im into the dead and phish as well. but the beatles man come one you know what i mean? Lennon himself was the voice of a generation.. any one agree? or have any idea what im talkin about?

Are you saying that you have to act a certain way to be hippy...........that we as this kind of "genra" of people, that we should go out and protest.........and stand up for whats really right?

I believe everyone starts somewhere I guess.........I know I did.....I didnt even know that hippys existed ....lol.........But then I went to my first Dead
show at Alpine Valley and from that day on everything changed......I actually searched out the music, the people that had the same beliefs as I did......But everyone has to start somewhere.....

Also love people for who they are.....we live in a diverse world... learn to love everyone..for who they are......

I listen the the Phish and String Cheese, YONDER MOUNTAIN, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Keller Williams, The Grateful Dead and all that jazz, but i dont feel like i need to wear patchys and tye die shirts to be a "hippy"........
