And for the kids wearing zeppelin shirts, and looking ''earthy''... well whatever man... theyll eventually grow tired of it.. Every kid or young teenager, in their minds, have to identify or label themselves, to become some one. I believe that everyone around that age is ''fake''.. since they havent adopted a lifestyle yet.

hate is a strong word...maybe u should get them informed....teach them....just cuz they want to be apart of some thing of the idea of peace and loveing.....expand there minds....maybe u can make them in to a better person..but thats just my opion

I get annoyed by it, too, but just because I find general hypocrisy annoying. When they claim a label but don't even attempt to look at the philosophy behind it, they just like the tie-dye shirts and pot.

Granted, if somebody just likes the look and thinks it's cool without pretending to be something they aren't, it's not nearly as annoying to me.

anyway i got long hair (dyed black due to an unfortunate hair metal phase...), smoke a lot of pot, listen to hendrix, zep, doors, floyd, whatever. i got beads on my wrist, tears in my jeans, animals on my t shirts, and i got wierd ideas bout peace, love and music.

I understand that's a rant and everything but why can't people just stop worrying about others? I have to go to school everyday and listen to like 700 fuckin dorks rip everyone and question each other. Annoying. But if I lived in LA I'd date you.

 

hmm, people who make assumptions about others bother me. Mostly that peopel assume that everyone on this forum is a hippy (no one here, just some other folks in other threads)

and, people who can't be themselves. Be yourself, even if it's a dorky nerd self (like me)... you'll be happier being yourself than faking someone else
