i dont get the whole being afraid to drive thing lol
and ya, when i get in the car it's kinda like the car is driving itsself..cos sometimes i look at the road and realise 'whooa hey, i'm drivin. oh. thats cool' then go on thinkin aBout whatever i was thinkin about before..

Yeah, I've never have any problems with my VW. Actually, I've had more issues when I was driving a Toyota...

And... well, I live in a town that's sorta BFE, besides US highway 17 running through the place, but the only time I ever really freak out while driving is when I'm on the interstate in a work zone (speed traps/concrete barriers/people walking all over the place) or a lane merges without really any notice. I think the worst work zones would have to be on 85, in piedmont/western North Carolina... and the worst trucks/accidents I've ever seen would be on 75 and 95.

I like driving, though, I just wish my Jetta was a TDI instead of a VR6/GLS so I could have a fuel tank put somewhere outside and have biodiesel delivered to my house and I'd pay a flat rate for hundreds of gallons, since we're on an automatic plan thing.

 

Snowboarding is actually quite fun, so long as you aren't associating with the macho asshole snowboarding types. Same goes for skiing. Only those people are snobs who think they're very suave and wear tight pants. :uhoh2:

I'm afraid of people with road rage, and I'm afraid of my own driving abilities. I'm overly cautious.

 

I love bicycles so much...that I train cycling.

 

I'm also afraid of bicycling. I love bicycles, but after I nearly got killed two years ago.. :uhoh2: It has ruined my entire bicyclist point of view.

 

still bicycling is much better and more convenient
-you train your body
-you can feel wind blowing right at your face
-you dont need to spend money on it

 

yeah but bikes dont work when the nearest thing to you is nothing.

and oh god. a few weekends ago when i still went to lsmsa we were riding to shrieveport with an SLA cos she was gonna bring us to the mall and on the way we saw this huge cloud of smoke and there was a fuckin big ass van ON FYA! that motherfucker was flamin..we were one of the closest cars to it.. the whole thing burned except the frame. it was baddd
