I Hate Black People

Exactly. One could hardly expect anything else: it's offensive and inflammatory.

I have dealt with a disproportionate amount of jewish New Yorkers who fit the stereotype of "the money-grubbing jew." They've inconvinienced me in a much more serious way than having to squeeze by a stairwell.

And yet I've always exercised restraint in making generalizations for the sake of jews who DO NOT fit that stereotype.

Somehow I would expect the mods in this forum to hold Pavel to the same standards. Whatever his opinions are, I don't care. He's obviously got some sorting out to do.

But I would think a thread like this deserves corrective measures.

 

That's exactly why I CAN laugh at that sort of thing.

It's your choice to get offended by it or to laugh at it. Which do you think is healthier?

One would expect you to take life a tad less seriously at your age.

I make generalizations about the stereotype because people confine themselves to the stereotype. I make just as much fun of goth kids, frat boys, business types, and so on... I just chose the gangsta folk because well... I've been noticing a lot of door blocking.

You're taking this thread way out of proportion.

If you have a problem with the word ****** then go and talk to your fellow black people and tell them to stop using it. I'm not the one you should preach to... I'm not a racist, I just have a dark sense of humor which you clearly fail to grasp.

So, yeah... I don't see anything wrong with this thread. It actually promoted some good discussion which is usually considered too taboo to address and it sure did have some good videos in it.

Not everyone hates black people, but everyone sure does hate Jews.

 

I'm not the one who lacks respect here.

You are the ones who are coming into this thread with complaints.

You learn to respect my right to laugh, and I learn to respect your right to not.

For a while I too was offended by Pavel’s use of the word ******, but I understand the context in which he uses the phrase and have come to accept it.


So he’s an insensitive jew fuck, nurtured in an environment where the use of the word ****** is spoken casually - nobody’s perfect

I'm just going to throw this out there so that perhaps one day you, or someone else reading it will mature on this issue:

1) It is not for you to say what is offensive to others. You certainly have every right to be offensive. But each time you're using the word ****** you are making an informed decision: you are referring to ME, and I'm offended by it.

2)There are "niggers" who don't use the word "******" and don't block stairwells. What do you do with them when you use derrogatory terms? How do they fit in your self-righteous, presumptuos neat little world-view?

3)I'm sure you've faced discrimination. I've witnessed many who, because they've faced discrimination, feel they have carte blanche to say or do whatever. They simply add to a discriminatory vicious cycle MUCH like "niggers" who call themselves niggers.

By the way, just so everyone knows. I don't want this thread closed at all. I think it generates an important discussion, and sometimes it takes an insensitive guy like Pavel to bring it up.

But I DO think he owes ME an apology. I don't block stairwells nor am I ok with the usage of the word "******."

But you can't say you know the racism that black people face, same as where other people can't say they know the prejudice Jewish people face...That's really all I was getting at...

You don't realize two things:

1) I do NOT have a problem with the word ****** per se. I have a problem with the CONTEXT in which YOU use it. It is misguided.

2) I do have a sense of humor. Go through my posts and I think that should be pretty obvious. But maturing also gave me an understanding of the need for BOUNDARIES in human relationships. Everything is not a joke in every context.

Why? People have feelings. You can say, "toughen up", "man up" or whatever until you're blue in the face. That doesn't change the fact that people have feelings.

P.S. I do NOT hate Jews. Stop trying to put words in my mouth. I don't even hate you, even though you've given me reason to.

That's the key to free speech.

Every single word that comes out of my mouth is bound to offend someone.

Ranging from beastiality jokes, to criticism of religion.

That will never stop me from voicing my opinion. People have fought for my right to free speech way too hard for me to just throw it out of the window.

3) I disagree. I think that the word "******" is very dynamic and is evolving into an acceptable part of modern slang.

I don’t think he’s questioning your right to free speech, I think its more along the lines of yelling fire in a crowded movie theatre

...and I'm not out to deliberatly hurt people's feelings. I'm discussing an issue, it's not my fault that you're sensitive to it.

I just do not associate with people who are easily offended in real life, they are not the kind of people for me.
