Jena 6. Enough said. No, seriously, I live in the heart of the south, and I can tell ya alot of people are still as narrowminded about blacks as ther were a hundred years ago. I wish it wasn't so, but it is.

black people are the only noisy people around in residence halls on my campus.. I don't mean to be racist or anything, but.. it's true.. well aside from the white frat boys.. or white boys who watch football and scream like savages at the T.V..

 

The thread got serious when Bradley from the LBC came in here and imnplied that we're racist scum simply for pointing out the poor habits of a few. And then claimed not to know who Brad Nowell is.

I was apalled.

Don't forget about the puertoricans. They're taking over my hometown, driving around in their Lexus and BMW's and grocery shopping at convenience stores so they can save their food stamps and maybe sell them for crack?

I'm not racist by any means. White people suck, too. It's the fact that blacks, puertoricans, mexicans, etc EXPECT you to look down on them so they automatically put their guard up and act superior to everyone.

What you don't realize, Pavel, is that I'm black and I hate dealing with that situation too.

I've seen you repeatedly abuse the word ****** and make racial remarks under the rubric of humor and that has always made me uncomfortable. I'm not you're gung-ho PC guy, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

What you perceive as racist, I don't perceive as racist at all.

I use the word ******/nigga/niggaz in the same context the people I'm ridiculing use it. I'm talking about self-proclaimed gangstas who refer to themselves using the word.

I think that I'm using it within perfect context considering the subject matter. I do not see why I shouldn't be able to use it just because I'm white.
