Sounds like an addictive personality. I'm the same way, that's why everybody tells me to stay far away from hard drugs. Oh, and everyone in my family thinks I'm going to become an alcoholic one day. Sure...

 

I think he just gave you your answer, stop using. There is no other way to avoid the hell of addiction, thats it. Every human being on Earth has an addictive personality, most either channel it into something harmless, like cigarettes or sex, or the have the will power to keep shit on the level. Fuck dude, I came close to addiction, when I started to sense I was getting to the pouint of no return, I bailed. So I guess you could call me a pompous jerk, but Ive been in the same boat as you. EVERYONE has problems, some people have really shitty ones, but I dont think it has anything to do with your addictive potential. I mean think of all those starving people in Ethiopia, are they all high on junk? would it be OK if they were?
