I don't understand the barefoot forum.

Just seems some people around here nowdays take things way too seriously for random thoughts.

I answered your question earlier in this thread. Let's re-phrase. This is random thoughts. This was a RANDOM THOUGHT. This thread took me 2 seconds to think of and was a random thought and NOT SERIOUS or to be taken seriously.

I don't care who wears shoes or not. I just don't see it as a defining "hippie" characteristic. I think that is silly.

I also think some people here now days take RANDOM THOUGHTS a little too seriously. Like you think I was sitting here for an hour fuming over bare feet.

I actually do think feet are a little bit disgusting but I swear that's a whole other issue... hmm maybe I'll make a thread about that and see if anyone gets upset.

I've always ran around barefoot and never thought much of it. It surprised me when I started posting here and saw the barefoot forum. Its so cool its a verb now..barefooting..and a noun..as in a barefooter. So I know what you mean.

I'm very glad there are people that understand my sentiments.

I have much more respect for a person who dresses like...themself ..whatever that may be and does something to make the world a better place-and i dont necc. mean some happy hippy flowery shit... but something real... then someone who is like "ima barefooter and i walked ten miles in barefeet today" and they wear the tye dye and live in a van making bracelets to support themselve and buy their weed and talk about being a hippy and going barefoot but not doing a damn thing to help...anybody.

Stereotypical hippies... or hipsters... or anything is... poseurs


(but besides all that.. my only point here is that the barefoot thing seems like such a non issue for me that the forum IS confusing to me. it would be like having a "i eat apples daily" forum. actually, that would make more sense.)

Well,I got it ALL covered-coz I just had a bath...and I was barefoot all the time I was in it.
Then I got out,stood on a towel to dry myself-and STILL I was barefoot.
Then I pootled through to the bedroom....still barefoot...mooched into the kitchen to make espresso.....and now,here I am sat at a computer-and somewhere along the line I've automatically eased into my battered old slip-on sandals.
Tomorrow I'll be wearing workboots-us truckers find being barefoot at work a tad uncomfy.

Hmm. Fail. Must try harder.
