This shirt is extremly unclassy, it's a party shirt, not a business shirt. To me, it's a lack of common sense to think this would be the thing to wear while presenting a major scientific project on national TV. I don't really care about the print on the fabric (even tho I'm a feminist) I think it's cool, but definetely inappropriate for the occasion.

The sexist and anti-feminist shirt is selling like hotcakes after the incident.

What is the world coming to?

    I think it's a cool shirt.

Are women offended by the advert posters all over bus stops, train stations, damn metro city flyers errywhere? How's that any different? These models aren't in provocative poses? Please, Ke$ha had her ass all over fuckin' Germany a few years back on every street pole and no one said shit, but a few illustrations on a shirt? Tantrums. Lol.

ok, guy helps land probe on moving comet (fucking incredible!)
guy wears awesome cool shirt with beautiful women on it
some news agencies pick up on it and proclaim it "sexist" (consider the source)
then of course guy is a god hating atheist because only an atheist would wear such a shirt........

    BWUUUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....................................................
    (gasp for breath)...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    @Bassline, inappropriate???
Dude he works in a room surrounded by computers and other scientists and this is most likely the first time he has ever had to worry about his shirt. LOL

if you worked in place where you never dealt with the public or shit like that, why the hell not wear what is comfy?

should a forklift driver be wearing a tuxedo?

and Tom155, thanks for posting the link to buy the shirt, gonna go order one or two now.

Agreed. Who gives a shit? I don't even care whether or not it was "inappropriate" for the work environment. I don't work there so I don't know what is considered appropriate. But I can just about promise that every single person in the room would have said "I don't care if you show up in a bathrobe with slippers on as long as you land on that comet today!"

On top of that....I recently saw a meme that had a lot of scantily clad ladies protesting and saying they have the right to wear whatever they want without it implying anything besides it being what they chose to wear that day. Below that was a pic of this guy getting called out over a shirt. Pot, meet kettle.

Amazing people do amazing thing > feminism throws an attention-seeking tantrum, and gets all the attention for the whole thing.

Yes, inappropriate for a TV presentation. I get he might not be used to dress up and on a daily basis he can wear what he goddamn please and nobody cares, but I think he should have made a little effort for the cameras.

Ok, maybe thas a bit negative, be interesting to see what these organic compounds found are, if complex, will be a huge deal

The primary battery was only designed to run for a relatively short amount of time. The unit has another battery that is charged with a solar panel whenever the panel faces the sun. So the unit can run out of power, shut down and then restart itself once the battery is charged back up enough. The initial problem with that is that they think it may be sitting in a spot next to a cliff of some other object that may partially block the sun and reduce the amount of time it has exposed to the sun.

That shirt inspires me to do the very same thing. Hey lady, people have sex and enjoy the human form. I adore women, some guys adore men some woman has the hots for YOU! The man is beyond a scientist. He thread a needle millions of miles away over the course of a decade. He's an eccentric artist of the most grand magnitude. Let him drink, smoke dope and look at naked women if it keeps him creative.

But, of course, I do NOT mean this should be done at some unwilling victim's expense. If a shirt makes someone feel like that, they should seek therapy for being such a wimp.

Yea, I don't get the vibe that he wants to subjugate the earth's women.

Thats why its kind of dumb though, as they are finding out now, if it lands in the wrong spot, theres a possibility it cant recharge to do anything else

They can land a man on the moon, but we can't recharge batteries.

Intelligence does not necessarily have any correlation with common sense or decorum.

an atomic battery has the life of 10/20 years but also a risky battery to use on a crash mission..
