Gotta have insurance if one expects to drive their bus for long...and if one expects to be free & not have to pay the ransom fee for driving without insurance luckily Rocky is covered now
Not legal insurance for a converted school bus....almost all liability policies have a clause that says that the policy will not cover converted school busses...but if you don't point that out to the agent & you claim to have an RV (having your title changed to read RV is one way to protect you rights as far as search and seizure...or it was before 9-11) the agent will usually sell you a liability policy anyway. It'll work to keep your vehicle on the road but it won't help at all if you wind up in a major accident.
veggie oil isn't as good for the environment as some people think. veggie oil still releases carbon when burnt. i have mixed feelings about this.
maybe so, but its free(not including tax). free is my friend. and also its recycled, meaning less possessing, less oil grubbing, less rich Texans, less mining, and less support for giant corporation. its a win every way i can see it.
yeah im having a hell of a time getting my bus titled as an RV, but i had no problem insuring it as one. the insurance only costs $100 a year. i was really relieved when i heard that. it is currently titled as a bus, which is ok, but i cant find anyone to inspect it as a bus... i found someone to inspect it as an RV, but i cant find anyone to title it as an RV... i just got to keep trying. tomorrow feels like my lucky day.
good luck with the inspection and all that jazz. that bus is coming along really well! i love it haha. the bumber stickers added very nice flare! theres only one thing i would change, MORE Couches!!!
