I am going to kill myself.

life is short. live while you can because you only have one life. don't look back on what you should have done or could have done. what's done is done. God put eyes in the front of our heads for a reason.

 

hey i am speaking from experience ,iamnow at the good side of the tunnel but i sufferedwith depression anxiety panic attacks for ten years which developed into an agrophobia and im only just coming out of it ..........i have 7 children and believe me there where times when i could of killed my self. it is no good telling a depressed person not to kill there selves and to pull your self together because when your in its evil clutches you are not rational.people and the medical proffession used to tell me to do this do that but to be honest i had no motivation ,...........i had to just grab my self and fioorce myself and believe me it does get better even though you dont think it will.get a personal stereo some up beat music and just walk as far as you can even iif its not far at first (my first walk was round the back garden) try and do this every day.try some deep breathing exercises it really does help. also are there no day centres near you (even hippies need help and company sometimes).but never give up we are all beautiful worthwhile people and i bet you have a lot to offer.i will check on to this thread every day and if you need any help with any thing just ask . we can always talk privatlety if you like but please dont give up .maybe i could talk you through some relaxation exercises . i am always there for you my friend

I won't tell anyone not to commit suicide. It's their choice and all we can do is support them and let them know we are there. I accept a person's right to die if they honestly believe they won't pull out of their sadness. For some people this is the case.

 

thats fine trickster but saying that all some people need is a friend ,maybe some encouragment ,ending ones young life can be such a waste ,people and life are so precious and who knows whats around the corner with a little help and encouragment ......well thats how i see it any way and ive been on the dark side of depression and it can get better

 

I've seen depression as well. Sometimes, around the corner, there isn't a frickin rainbow and a happy future. Things don't always work out for the best no matter how much support and love there is on offer. All i'm saying is, if this is the case and someone decides to take their life, i understand that. I don't have the right to be angry at someone, after they make that decision. It's their right.

 

i dongt think anger would come into it maybe sadness at such a waste and compassion for those left behind. my way of thinking is that if i can help one person with my experiences then it hasent all been bad

 

Live is only one, maybe we won't get the chance to live again.we musn't spoil our lives.everybody have a difficult moments.But we got life/my name shows it/, and we must love it and feel the pleasure to live.

i say go for it... if that really what you want then by all means go for it.. just remember, you dont wake up from it..

What does it mean that I posted this, then? If your threat of suicide was real... It means either that I don't truly care about you or that I know you are lying.

Do any of us truly care about this other person? Is this person telling the truth?

Suicide is alive. Death is dead. Why should the next life be any better?

 

I think you all need to suck it up and move on.

I wish someone would close this thread because it's just one long list of people whining about life and the other half trying to convince them life is ok. All you people are doing is playing right into the payoff people get when they make a suicide threat. Stop giving them sympathy.

Life is full of crap. Crap happens to everyone. Sometimes it's natural to not want to live anymore. But to go as far as making such dramatic statements is selfish and pathetic.

 

I care!Every life is important, and It's not important to know is this suiside real or not, because our duty is to help that person.Imagine that is real!People are made to help each other

 

pehaps you should read my post 2 above yours.. i encourage this 'suicide'..

 

Telling people to "suck it" and wishing them dead for expressing pain seems the polar opposite of any sort of "hippie ideal" in my eyes.

If someone expressing pain bothers you, if someone reaching out for support annoys you, maybe you should simply get a crewcut and join the marines...because you're certainly no hippie with your "go die" attitude!
