I can feel the emotions of others, and will sometimes just "know" things about a person. I can also see auras. When I was younger I used to have precognitive dreams but they went away, so for a while I became confused and frustrated, but once I stopped worrying about it and just let things happen my abilities started to grow pretty quickly.
zen. theres a phrase in zen that goes as such: if you have found enlightenment, you have lost it. if you have lost enlightenment, you have found it. dunno if it applies to you but just word for thought.
Yeah esp, what the phrase is getting at is to not cling to anything, even your enlightenment. I've experienced this. When you think, you lose it, you just have to flow, immerse yourself completely in each moment as it comes. Of course it applies to me, it applies to everyone. I'm wondering if you misunderstood my earlier post...come to think of it, I wonder if I misunderstand it also.
no. i went on my interpretation of the post. there can be more than one way of interpreting things. to say that the definitive meaning of what you said the zen phrase meant is narrow-mindedness.
i was skilled in this area to the point where i didnt use my mind and achieved this when i was younger. i made a lot of friends ect. when i came back from basic it was erased from my memory
Then let it all out, esp. Please. Tell me about myself. Maybe you have a piece or two of the puzzle that I'm missing. What is it I need to know at this time in my life?
It definitely was a very trippy statement. LOL None of us are essentially different from any other...it's that old dualistic thinking that bites the fruit from the tree of knowledge...
Yep that's about it. I think this is why we should love our neighbour, and 'enemies' (people that hate you) ..and always strive to understand the predicament of another ... because it's all you in the mirror .... a vast holographic YOU in the mirror of life.
