well im dissapointed I plan on doing beer festivals at some point, with munich in mind for 2 years (long way off i know, but moneys an aw that)
I wish we had beerfest here in the states. Oh well ... Everyday is beerfest day for me! More like vodkafest.
You Europeans/Uk/Irish bastards are so freakin lucky ... You can travel to amazing countries and not go that far! Here in the states all we have is Canada and Mexico. Don't get me wrong, I like those places, but compared to Italy and Germany ... No way.
beer festivals used to be a hit here too, but of course this is crap-land and they have this thing of ruining what is cool. concerts turned to oriental music shit, drinking beer is a national sport for middle aged workers and it's all such a low excuse for manifesting the crap-landian spirit of non-value-let's-party-like-animals. i never go nowadays.
Theres loadsa places i'd kill to go to munich during beer festival moscow during "summer" New York, Chicago and New Orleans etc
