communications, hopefully something with film. i know HSU isn't exactly the school for that but i'll make it work
Lived here, travelled the world, lived on 3 different continents. Humboldt is the best I have come across for community and connectedness. If you bring something meaningful: talent, love, passion, willingness to learn, creativity, work ethic, you can become a valued member of the community in no time at all. If you are looking for a place or a community to solve your problems like a drug relieves pain or reduces fever, then it may not be for you . . . unless living in the most beautiful place on the planet is the drug you need . . .
humboldt is home. its been my home for a while now and i dont want to live anywhere else. just experience it. humboldt isnt for some people, ive brought people out here that i grew up with and they all changed. some other people tell me there friends change too. lol maybe its the smoking 24.7 hahaha to visit its the best
Humbolt is everything you have heard and more. I lived there in the 90's currently living 150 miles to the east but still get there quite often. Cool beaches, laid back people and good smoke.
i live in fl now, but i went to mendocino like a year and a half ago. stayed there for almost a year. didnt like ft.bragg that much. mendo village is one of the coolest places i've ever been. i know it's not humboldt but it is right next door. and yes ill say from experience you do change. i do like where i live now, and i love fl weather, but i miss mendo everyday. one day ill go back to visit probly
i'm a traveler and want to experience the west coast. Im super cool and a great worker, how hard is it to find work in Humboldt or the surrounding areas?
