    Last night, the arrested suspect's apartment was searched. His computer and web activities include several postings in Christian fundamentalist web forums and on his (now deactivated) Facebook page he described himself as "conservative" and "christian".
    According to Norwegian TV channel TV2, the suspect had contacts to the right-wing scene and two firearms (including an automatic rifle) were registered to him. After being arrested, he was willing to testify and has revealed a nationalist and anti-islam mindset.

    This is really bad, about the worst shooting I've ever known in the past 30 years I think, apart from the ones that happen in "real" wars.

    Anyone remember the Dunblane massacre, when a gunman walked into a school and started shooting indiscriminately?

    And we had two gunmen on the rampage last year in the north of england. Makes you wonder how easily it for people to get a hold of guns these days. And all this corruption in the world, all these soldiers coming back from the middle east with post traumatic stress disorder..

    He liked to play war games, just like Gen X got addicted to as kids.

    One really has to wonder how many more like him there are in the USA and elsewhere, ready to do the same thing to further some vague political goal set into their minds by the likes of Glenn Beck...

    This has a lot of the hallmarks of Timothy McVey's terror attack in the US. Another violent right-wing extremist. Apparently he even used the same kind of bomb.

    Its hard for me to imagine that he was alone, must have had some help I think for such a complex and efficient double attack (triple if there were several bombs as reported).

    Well the bomb, if like the Timothy McVey one, is pretty simple to assemble, I imagine. Doesn't take a rocket scientist or even much terrorist training. All he had to do was look it up on the Internet, I bet.

    I kinda doubt this is an Israeli action. What I wonder is whether this guy was in the military or not, whether he served in the mideast or not. That's about the only thing left to find out, besides whether he had help.

    There are right wing groups growing strong all over Europe these days. I hope this puts them all in a bad light because everyone of the preaches hate and divisiveness.

    I think the problem with him and most right-wing extremists is they don't get laid enough so they redirect their frustrations on others.

    What scares me now, is their more explosions to come? Their could be a hundred people working in on this, their could be two. If all are alive what are their plans? Do they just sit back and drink coffee with some popcorn over their success or do they go out and send more messages tell a goal is met?

    Breivik supports far-right ideologies and has called for the formation of a "cultural Euro-Tea Party" referring to the grass-roots right-wing organization in the US supported by Sarah Palin.

    In posts on a Norwegian website, Breivik shows he has an interest and deep, current knowledge of UK far-right politics. In one posting he called for the establishment of a "Norwegian EDL" and he claims to have had contact with it and another far-right organisation, Stop the Islamification of Europe.

    Conservitive, christian right wingers...violent and mentaly unstable and they are all over the place and not many people seem to veiw them as terroristic or a threat to us....To me thats frightning.
