MY STYLE IS ROCK & ROLL ...

yes it is different everyday, but it always remains rock n roll. sometimes i look like i belong in 1967, other times i look 70s, even 80s at times. i love the folk rock style with flowy skirts etc. , or heavy metal with t-shirt & jeans. but my style is definitly individual. oh yeah and i love my knee-high boots. also i love my paisly heels and i love my capris with fishnet tights and mini skirt over top... hahaha it scares the crap outt of people when they see me coming.

my style is very personal because i rarely have an outfit i didn't put my own twist on. i graffitti on my jeans (i love patches, but my sewing is limited so to write mesages i use sharpies... [IMG] ). i paint my t-shirts, and my favorite earrings are these silver cheap hoops i made my own by taking a broken leia ((ok i cant spell but ya know those flower hawaiin necklaces)) and using the flowers on my earrings. also i used broken missmatched chains to dangle, just add beads and voila! my master piece. i use an old bathrobe sash as a scarf, and old ties as a belt. wow i am realizing how much thought i put into this, really im bored a lot. also nobody can take my plushee velvety cheap boa away from me on mardi gras. i have a lot of fun with fashion. WOO HOO!!! its only rock & roll but i like it.

oh and i sleep in my jim morrison t-shirt. nobody can keep me away from it. i finally have a way to get his hands on me...[IMG] no but really..

i love fashion just cause its fun and i can express myself and i can scare people and i like scoop-neck shirts so at least your collarbone is exposed and i dont feel suffocated.

sorry i make no sense and ramble

    ~peace~

    and thats that

    WOO HOO!!!!

what do you use to write on them? i find that a lot of pens wash out and some of my sharpie designs are smearing a little in the wash.

also, i got these really dark bluue jeans from a neighbor, and wanted to design on 'em but i dont know what to use that'll show up. i might just have to make em my own by patchin em with designs, but i can only sew very simple shapes...

    thanks

    ~~peace~~

Well, every article of clothing I wear is black. Excepting a tye-dye shirt or two.
I am seen as very odd because I contain traces of a few different subcultures.
A black punk-rawkish bracelet on one arm, a hemp bracelet on the other.
Dreadlocks, a bondage collar, sometimes a black rasta hat.
I have a weird style indeed.

Well, right now I'm basically living off of grateful dead tees and pajama pants (it's summer I don't have anyplace to go), but I'm looking into getting a lot of new clothes. I've always really loved wide, flowy pants (like, palazzo or even wrap pants), and alot of earthtoned kurta type shirts. My style really hasn't been much in the past 2 years. Yeah, two years ago I wanted to do the whole goth thing (never want to go back to that time! That, and along with this religious stint I had a year ago, has really created a communication barrier with my parents and myself), but my parents said no, so I had almost no clothes to wear, and it's kinda been like that for a while. I really need new ones.

i know what its like when your parents get invovled, it usually aint good ...

well ever since i was little i drew pictures of myself and id always be wearing a tube top and seperate sleeves. I didnt know this concept was a reality until a year or so ago when i saw them being sold at a little punky store. so i wanted them and my folks strongly objected since im too young to get income (i hate getting turned down for jobs again & again! ) i needed some money and they didnt go for it. so i took so way colorful toe-sock that were beginning to rip at the toes, cut all the toes open if they weren't already, put my fingers in the toe-holes and wore them as sleeves. socks on my arms... yes i am eccentric sometimes with fashion but i wouldnt have it any other way.

if i had more spending money id buy more quality stuff, and more enviornment friendly stuff, but like a said, no job, no money. Oh and ive tried the lemonade stand/ lawn mowing / baby-sitting junk and it didnt work. Rumors about me have been spread by bitter middle-aged conservative women who hate me and all the parents are afraid ill corrupt their children with satan's rock&roll. oh lordy i need to move....

    anyway sorry

My style is pretty casual when I can afford to be (Unfortunately, I'm stuck in dress clothes often). But it's nothing outrageous - I like wearing jeans or jean shorts and a tee-shirt (often, tie-dyed).

But the last two days, I've done something weird. One of my sandals broke recently, and I haven't bought a new pair yet. So, on my right foot, I wore a sandal and on my left food, I wore a hiking shoe. Pretty weird.

Whoa umm I like to wear all kinds of things! I like wear bright colors and busy designs and shiny things...and any kind of weird jewlery i can get my hands on. Silver, neon, beads, hemp, plastic, etc. I don't like pants..(down with pants..or jeans for that matter) so I usually wear shorts or skirts..SOMETIMES capris. Oh and i like belts...but yeah, i don't really know how i could "label" my style..i basicaly liek to wear whatever I like and whatever is pretty cheap and nobody elce wears. :D

My brotehr told me to put on some nice slacks to go to this restraunt, and I was like I don't have any!

Hmm, I'd say it depends, but in general I'm a mix of early 70's women's fashion and hippy/mystical. I can also be pretty simple, a pair of jeans with a tee-shirt, with my All-Star shoes, or sexy, with a mini skirt and some boots... like in the mid-60's :) Just depends on my mood, and the weather too...

I am anti-style/anti-fashion - I dress nicely, but for the most part it's t-shirts and jeans this time of year. I do not believe in expression through fashion.

It's funny how many of you identify your style so easily - ie: "punk," "hippy," "goth," "skater," "emo," etc..

The thought of falling under one of those cliches (or stereotypes, depending on which you prefer) bothers me, so I don't go out of my way to show who I am by what I wear, but through more meaningful ways involving the English language.

Personally I do believe in expression through fashion (well, the way you dress) but I think it truly means something when you do not follow any fashion in particular, or label your style as hippy, punk, etc. Me, for example, I change all the time, or mix different styles that I refer to as "70's style" or this or that, and I guess that's what make up the "Laety" style :) A unique style...
