He is an epidemeologist, one who studies epidemics, and ive grown up hearing his complaints of people who are scared of vaccines. Trust me, even though pharmacutical companies are pretty screwed up at the moment, people in the medical field are not out to get you. Vaccines are a great thing, without them we would have Polio, small pox, measles and many other afflictions. If you recal in 1917 their was a huge flew epidemic that killed millions of people, modern flew vacinnes may prevent another episode like that one day. Who knows, if we didnt have such advanced health care in the world avian and swine flu may have actually reached global epidemic levels.

 

And yet isn’t it ironic that with the knowledge your father possesses he could use that knowledge to create a super weapon capable of killing off most of the world’s population

As far back as the mid 90s the Russians were attempting to develop a biological super-weapon or genetic chimera that would have a killing ratio equal to that of an all out nuclear war between the soviets and the US.

By combining Ebola Zaire with Marburg, or Influenza with either Ebola Sudan or Small Pox at a genetic level

No, I dont think my dad could do that, and if he could he wouldnt because like all doctors he has taken and, like all but an extreme few, firmly believes the Hippocratic oath. Yeah Russia did some crazy things, and the Americans have too but for all general purposes the idea that the government is out to get you is unwarranted. Yeah I disagree with some laws and practices and other things that our government does and has done as well. however, there is a fine line between ridiculous paranoia and healthy skepticism.
When it comes to vaccines the only possible thing is that there may be some added mercury that causes autism in some children, and now that research has started to prove that, scientists are genuinely working to correct the problem.

 

The apocalypse would more than likely destroy every country on the planet, not just America. Just felt somebody should correct that right there.
