I like what he's done, but I see a republican getting into office next term and destroying whatever progress he's made. I believe he'll go down as the next jimmy Carter just through the right wing media.
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. When the elections came up, fuel prices started dropping like a rock. Everyone blamed Bush. And so many people praised Obama. So many people said that Obama was making the prices go down. Really. Hmmm. Well, look at them now. And he's in office. Why can't he do now what he allegedly did then? Or perhaps it wasn't him after all? Hmmm.
He's...mediocre. I think he would've been a great president were we in a time of stability and peace. Given a better platform to work upon, I believe that he would be able to do a lot to better the country as a whole. But unfortunately we're not in such a time, and I think that he just isn't the man to go full force and bring the country around to where it needs to be.
As a puppet presedent he is doing great. I gave him 10/10 for being a great puppet like he is supposed to be
I don't really like the job he is doing, but, he is still doing a lot better than I thought he would.
I just got to ask ,, Why are Bob Weir and Phil Lesh so suddenly silent on the current issues with obama.. WHO??//
i dont vote democrasy is a fraud perpetrated by secret societies [SS] i refuse to participate in a fraud i told myself 40 years ago i would never vote since then i learned through study that my view of this fraud was correct from the beginning. all presidents are puppets america is a puppet ... unless/until it can break loose from the grip of the german-jewish-zionist-banking-cartel of the rothschild agenda a bit on bankers here http://www.shroomtalk.com/forum/ind...collapseshit-hits-the-fan/page__gopid__404886
So if its all a sham, does that mean that the same things would be happening if McCain was elected? Or would it have been Obama no matter what? ---------------- Listening to: Daedelus - Suit Yourself via FoxyTunes
He seems kinda like a moderate republican. However, that's from a time when such terms had meaning of any kind. Nowadays the two parties only real differences are over who gets the money and a few emotional push-button topics to intentionally divide the voting population. But in then end, to have risen to such a high level of national office somewhere along the way you had to sell your soul to someone, and the whole thing is a masquerade designed to leave us with a feeling like we were part of it... that maybe we mattered. That being said, if he truly has a soul that is own; I can't imagine what it would be like to process everything that is going on right now, let alone make good decisions. But as for change we could believe in, we were suckers for the dream. We rode an emotional tsunami all the way from both coasts inland far enough to get him elected. We wanted hope and he gave it to us, just like we wanted. After we woke up the next morning from our giant love orgy with him... damned if he hadn't slipped out while we were sleeping. In the end, what did he give us? Seems more like the reality we were dreaming out of. Still, I figured he'd call. He was so pretty and calm and smiling. He wouldn't just go off with his new friends and play with them and forget about us, would he? But, you know, he's busy... right? Why isn't he calling? Oh well, it was fun... maybe we'll see him around. I had continued with some form of hope until his speech justifying our actions in Libya. He gave impassioned oratory... or as impassioned as he ever is, which isn't much, but his content was so hypocritical. The pawn emerges. His justification of our actions to prevent innocents in Benghazi from being killed by Gadhafi troops as a moral obligation of our great and proud nation completely contradicts our position on similar atrocities committed in the Sudan. However, there's no oil there, so apparently fuck them. And he's the new mouthpiece for the smoke and mirrors show. Disappointing. But can you blame him for the pressure to maintain some kind of control in a region that is falling apart and has been taken advantage of, by us mainly, since the end of World War II? And sits on top of the one resource that is most globally desired and definitely not lasting forever? You might, but if you go outside from reading this on your flatscreen monitor and grab your smartphone and hop into your subaru outback for a ride to the mall, you could be just as hypocritical as he is. It sounds like an easy job to drive a train. Mostly about speed control, because you've got the track guiding the wheels. Well, he's the engineer now and we went off the rails about 10 years ago. Wouldn't want his job. 4/10
yes carter got the boot cause his brother billy-beer got caught arranging a secret arms deal with amy's enemy iran so reagan got elected and after inaugeration his first official act was to complete the arms deal billy-beer arranged dont feel like typing all nite but could with similar examples of how prez's are puppets and the man is behind the curtain [rothschild] stop watching tv and research something on your own from original sources obama is a '''''''' pretty boy ''''''' like all the others.
Democrats suffered losses at the mid-term elections. The President lost his super majority in Congress and The Opposition now controls The House of Representatives. The Presidents base is unhappy with him for being too moderate. Even Representative Nanci Pelosi, Former House Speaker, the driving force behind health care legislation was challenged from the Left by an opponent who said Nanci is not progressive enough. President still has the mainstream media in his pocket though; He can now claim Osama bin Laden was eliminated on his watch.
As soon as I can be confident that the information I'm getting regarding government activity is not from a source intent on spinning half-facts and wording news in the form of commentary calculated to prefabricate general opinion I'll be better able to respond to the OP.
I seriously doubt Obamys health care bill had anything to do with your Mom getting you added to her health insurance thru her work. At my last job our employee health insurance covered the individual worker ONLY. If the individual wished to add a son or daughter or other loved one they merely filled out the proper forms in HR. The additional costs incurred by the company were paid by the employee as a payroll deduction. As a thank you to your Mom you might want to take her out to lunch on Mothers Day or for her birthday. Just sayin...
I gave our first zebra prez (after all he is only half Black) a whopping 1 only because 1 was the lowest number. I am glad to see there are 8 other folks that agree he is doing a lousy job. What's funny about that is if he had a regular job out in the real world he no doubt would have already been fired during his last 6 month review. Who else is up for firing the bum??:sultan:
Why is it that whenever someone has a negative opinion about Obama they feel the need to somehow work his race into the equation? No one wants to be labelled a racist, yet it seems I can't find anyone willing to leave his race alone, at least among people with some derogatory assessment of his presidency. And "zebra?" Really? Who are you, George Jefferson? Even if you feel the need to equate his ethnicity with his job performance, you understand that you are now lumping every other human being of mixed race into that demeaning category. That's abhorrent. I didn't vote for him because I felt like he was just paying the people some lip service. I didn't believe in his change or his hope. I didn't like Hillary or McCain either. So I didn't vote for anyone. As for how I feel about his presidency, I'll give him a place he's comfortable with. Right down the middle, at a 5. I disagree with many things he's done and the compromises he's made, but lifting the ban on stem cells was a great move and I'm glad that issue was addressed, after Bush enacted policy based on religious beliefs, which in a country that supposedly supports a separation of church and state, was ludicrous.
