I used to use it a lot and it helped me to develop spiritually.

I wonder if that last little boy who just wished the cops on everyone really knows just how many people are in jail for non-violent drug offences. Does he know that overcrowded prisons lead to the early release of many rapists and child molestors....... Putting people in jail because they use drugs is ignorant and un-American.

It is wrong to abuse anything...in moderation..drugs can be a great thing..but we have people on here dropping acid weekly..that's just crazy..and yes caffeine is a drug..it's a stimulant...like many other drugs people abuse...u also suffer side effects from caffeine withdrawls..as w/ other drugs...yes it doesn't mess u up mentally...but it does physicall....cocaine doesn't mess you up mentally either ...so what's ur point dude??? neither does tabacco..but it's a drug too...your facts are off .. all u can do is call me nasty names...I suggest u stop spreading the hate and learn a little tolerance...OH and stop assuming things..that will get u nowhere...

In the mean time: Awesome Pawsome- why do you want everyone who smokes pot to get busted? Why would you hope for such a thing? To have someone's life essentially ruined because they smoke a plant? You get busted, you probably do a little jail time depending on how much you have, and if it's enough to smoke once a day for a month, you'll probably be there for about 5 years. Then, once you're out again, you'll get the joy of trying to find employment with the past five years riding on your ass, more than likely keeping you away from any sort of desirable job opportunity. That's not to mention that while in jail you'll more than likely be ridiculed, raped, and beaten unless you decide to join the white supremecists or one of the other multitude of gangs that tend to take over the underground of most prisons. So then once you're out and hopefully "reformed" you really have no way of escaping the system that holds you down because you smoked a small, insignificant plant once a day. So then you just smoke more just to get away from the bullshit reality you'll have to deal with the rest of your life, and that's not to mention that other drugs seem a hell of a lot more appealing when you're at the bottom of the fucking barrel. You'll probably be working so many jobs it's not funny, and cocaine is one hell of a way to fight fatigue and tiredness... Look at the hard working ball-breaking CEOs who do it! Look at the number of HARVARD students who have tried/habitually use cocaine... and that's just the people that admit to it!!! Cocaine is something that might be worth worrying about, but if you really wanna experience the effects of cocaine... Take some Oragel and put it on the inside of your nose... and down about 10 redbulls in about 20 minutes, back to back. That's all it really about as close a description I can give you that you can experience... Such a terrible drug, and it's effects can be acheived through legal means and often is by teens your age... and old people, and cops, and adults, and CEOs.... wow.... hmmm.... that's interesting.... What's the downside of cocaine? Injecting it is typically a bad idea, over-dosing, and the nasal damage... hmmm.... not to mention the heart abuse and the addiction potential... but wait! The government gives us drugs that are similar in structure to cocaine, and they're legal??? Adderal, Ritalin, and so one are all closely related to cocaine, but the government isn't getting taxes from cocaine sales. Plenty of good people live a good, and full lifetime on one of the most terrible drugs out there, and you hope the cops bust us all for smoking pot??? Dude, come here to learn, and to be informed, not to wish us all our doom in life as we're forced to experience it in this society.

There are people who aren't drug people, and there are people who are drug people. We drug people don't hate you non-drug people, so why do you hate us? Are you afraid of us, jealous of our experiences even, or are you afraid of what you don't know, and the side effect of that fear is ridicule and spite?

I quit using pot last year after I got busted, but you know what that did for me? It made me think I was going crazy, so I went to see a psychologist and she told me that I had ADD and that I had to take Adderall and I would be fine. I was scared as hell the whole time that I had fucked up my mind, but then I realized something... all of that "pot will fuck up your head" bullshit, is just that- bullshit. I went home after I got out of school for the summer, met back up with my friends, and when they lit up that blunt and passed it to me, knowing all the shit I went through- I didn't turn it down like I did for nearly a whole semester. Hell no, I hit that shit and I got high, and it didn't suck at all. It was a glorious experience, and I was with my friends, doing silly and fun things, that none of us would typically do otherwise, and it was hilarious and we are closer as a group as a result of some of the crazy shit we do when we're stoned, or even sober. You have to understand the cohesiveness of our group was begun as a result of pot, but it's far beyond that. You've got me, the hippy, Corey, the "thug" who everyone describes as a Black version of me in a thug's outfit, T, the dealer/thug wanna be, Michaela, the crazy sister who dates Corey and works at Red Lobster, and then you've got all of our other friends we've met as a result of us coming together.... It just began out of nowhere one day, and although it seemed awkward at first, it has become a group that gets along beautifully and we unite not only because of pot, but because we've broken a lot of those racial and social barriers and pot has to be somewhat attributed to that.

Pot helps you to break barriers, explore your mind, and see life in a different light. If it doesn't work for you, hey that's cool... some people aren't drug people, but me... man I'm a drug person in the same tradition of Terence McKenna, and Timothy Leary.... I want to understand the world, and man... drugs do that for me. I'm happy if you don't need them, but don't hate people because they use them and enjoy them. That's like hating someone for being gay or for liking a certain musical style.... Last time I checked, God is alive man... and he lives in Texas, so no one died and made you God... You don't have the answers, and neither do I, but I'll admit that freely and openly.... I don't care if you're just 12 years old and this seems like a lot to you... don't judge us because we like pot, or any other drugs. Drugs can be a beautiful thing... I know a soldier who came home from Iraq all fucked up in his mind, and man... he went to Amsterdam and ate some shrooms... never touched pot though, and he came back with his head straightened out and he's doing very well now back in the states.... Drugs aren't the answer, but sometimes they help people get to it, man... you dig?

Halo 2 is cool kid, and some people think it really will change Earth forever, but some people also say Acid will change Earth forever.... I don't think either is right, but at least each has their own thing they can be excited about and lift up as a symbol of their culture. I think good and bad points can be drawn as a result of both, like how ADD can seriously come from too much videogamage... and how Acid can bring out psychosis that was relatively dormant before an Acid trip... but instead of making one legal and the other this evil, terrible substance of terrorism (George Bush would love to say that I bet) I say let's have both and see where each takes us.... Nowhere I bet, but who knows man? We've never given it a shot... some would argue the 60's mighta been a shot, but not really.... I bet somewhere down the line... a lot of Halo was created by some serious stoners and psychonauts (people who like to trip on acid and shrooms and whatever else works...). Most video games have shrooms and very "lucid" themes in them... Maplestory, Mario Brothers, Halo's concept of visual graphics and themes.... come on man... it's all good.

Do you want your precious Halo programmers to go to jail too, 'cause I bet a good half of them would man? I don't want them to go to jail... Hell, I don't wish that on anyone really other than ol' W and a good many CEOs.... Anyways, I'm outta here man... good luck and please don't wish people to go to jail. At risk of sounding like the chastising mommy, "you're too young to be dabbling in things like that!" Seriously. I'm not an expert, but I would think that the earlier you start, the more risk you have of getting into "heavier" drugs.

So, think better of yourself and your future and don't get yourself into it.

I love weed, but even I would say: Not for kids. Although I must admit, my niece was fifteen when she started smoking weed - and as far as everyone's concerned, she's not fucked up. What I'm trying to say is I'm not comfortable with kids smoking pot cuz I know the consequences of being caught. I know the implications of being a stoner in a society that looks down on stoners - these are things that I'm not sure kids really understand cuz they're still young. My niece turning out okay...she's one of the lucky ones cuz her dad was really cool with her potsmoking. She also happens to be the responsible, levelheaded type - so far away from the stereotypical lazy, stupid, couch potato stoner. Little miss, you're almost the same age as my niece when we smoked together for the first time. You really wanna try it? I suggest you do some growing up first. But if you're really that determined, then no one here can really stop you. I just hope that you will be the responsible kind of stoner, and not the kind that gives us so much bad press.

its not like all kids do is study all the time the time when there awake. there is time to relax and have fun too which for most kids is there majority of the time. school is only 35 hrs a week
and a week consists of 168 hrs
that is 133 hrs a week to have fun and not think about school
so smoking a little pot with friends or a little pot before bed is not going to hurt her schooling if it takes place in the 168 hrs a week where school is not part of her life.

also starting to smoke marijuana early(douring teen years) i think is a much better idea because for most marijuana is just a phase. why experiment with somthing when you are an adult that could potentiouly land you in jail, ruien your carear/family that you worked so hard for

as for grades in school...people with bad grades before smoking marijuana ushily keep bad grades after marijuana use
and people with good grades before smoking marijuana ushily keep good grades after marijuana use

 

On the other hand, why experiment with something when you're still a kid that could potentially end your education (expulsion, if caught), take away your freedom (getting grounded - again, if caught), give you a social stigma (depends on where you live, of course), and land you in juvenile?!

I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong, it's just that this is really a case-to-case basis. My niece, as I've said, started smoking at the age of 15 and she's managed to stay out of trouble. But not everyone who starts young does well.

I do agree with you about the grades, though.

most likly in a public school you wont get expelled for possesion...probbly 10 day suspention and a fine at most

and most likely on your first and second charge you wont get juvenile jail time
but rather marijuana classes and a fine...but it depends on where you live

 

okay LOOK!! ill give you the rundown, the VIEW, of this whole situation from a kid's view.. i mean im sorta a kid... 15.. in a couple days 16.. but anyways...

look, see, my parents were ALWAYS really open to me about everything.. they never had a problem about tokenin it up, but they always wanted me to be EDUCATED about the whole thing, not just MJ, all drugs. they wanted me to make my OWN decisions... they wanted me to become independant... they gave me the rundown about everything from reefer to herion to acid... they even sent me to eworid (sp) and that was VERY informative... both the negatives and the positives!

im glad my parents told me about everything because now i know what is within my limits and what is not... i know that i won't EVER do crack or herion or anything of that natural.. but a little MJ aint gunna kill ya... i mean my parents toked it up and they have good stable jobs and all that jazz... also, now that i am so educated, if i see anyone that is going to do something REALLY harmful (such as coke or something) i can educate them on the negatives and all of that...

listen, just educate the girl. maybe if you educate her, she won't make a mistake she'll regret....
