Well, i hung out with my friend and her brother and their grampa, and we went fishing. I suppose you could call me a hippie, but i never really care to go around telling people i am, i just kinda live. But my friends brother asked his grampa, "Hey. How do you be a hippie?" And his reply was "You can't just be one, you become one." And i think that is the best answer ever.

its just a matter of knowing your true self... if you are who you are than THATS what you should be... your true self may be a "hippie" but if its not, than who cares! People are the way they are supposed to be so don't sweat it! its not about music you listen to, or food you eat, or what you wear so don't worry about any of that shit. Don't change YOU to fit in a mold you want to be cause you are who you are for a reason. eace:
BUT i say if you really want to change read the book "The Politics of Ecstasy" by Timothy Leary... it changed my life and perspective. eace:
true to all of this, if you're not a hippie then you're just not a hippie. you can't just wear tie dye and flipflops and smoke herb and be a hippie. to me, hippie is not a look but more of a lifestyle(duh). and you will know a true hippie when you see one.
as you walk down a street or through a woods pick up every piece of trash you see and recycle it. thats the best start you can do and feel good that you care about mother earth
