I don't know if I can call myself a Hippy...
I just feel like giving love to everyone and everything - trying to treat anything alive with Respect. Respect equals Love I believe. I question Society and the way people behave in this world. Nobody is perfect .... I know, but we can all try harder.
I stand up for Injustice and Equal Rights... I don't know. Does that make me a Hippy?

There is no how to way to become a hippy.. a hippy is an individual that does not mindlessly follow the crowd like a sheep, think free.. Follow the calling thats in your soul..

it's what you are after you've surpassed all that and become yourself.

no one becomes anything by imitating an image created to discredit it.

if you want to be what the real hippies were, before media invented that image, and then people wanting to join in started copying it, just start caring more about the kind of world we all have to live in, then about trying to impress anybody.

of course if you want to wear blue jeans, grow your hair long, smoke pot, well all of that is totally optional, but won't make anyone the real thing. not if they continue to persue selfish ends while doing so.

claiming to love everyone while pushing an agenda that hurts love more then helps it is phonier then anything too. even though, well none of us are perfect, and even with the best of intentions many of us might sometimes do this a little bit without realizing it too.
