how to be a traveling gypsy

Does anyone have any interest in going to the India/Tibet/Bhutan area in the future? Thats where I want to go...eventually.

Hey, cosmic cats. I'm at at library at the moment , it is getting very cold every where in the nation almost. I'm travelling alone at the moment, so if anyone would like to put down some cool destination ideas so I can run into some others please let me know. I'm at the moment trying to leave Austin(might stay for week). I might jump on a train and see where It will take, hopefully somewhere near a library close by so I can stay intouch with you. I met a few really chilled out folks here in Austin , and they told me I could stay untill I find others to leave with me . So I will most likely be around here for atleast a week ,untill then stay intouch.

bro, scamble up what loot you have and get you a very expensive sleeping bag. then like i said, its gettin cold, so texas is as far north as you wanna be. i done this alot, so trust me.after you square away the bag (zero degree) you want to work on getting a nice pack, if youre a bigger dude i got one i can spare, then after the pack you want a water filter, tehn a tent, then some way to make loot to feed yourself.
be careful if you want to hop trains, cus fucks will knife you for your shoes, even if they have nicer ones. i prefer to hitchhike and trust to my karma or diety of my choice. peace and good luck bro.

you cant find someone who wants to travel by sittin in houses and cities. all those people want to be in thier houses or cities. if you wannna go, you should go. you dont need no one else.

 

true, I do wanna go and taking it slow also. I'm fixing to leave amarillo,Tx. I'm got to try and get to New Mexico. And chill there for awhile.

same thing man!!! through and through, go with the flow. put down no expectattions, dont wanna be following any expectattions! just, trying to pull myself into the NOW of every moment, starting with each day's blessing of a sunrise. meet kind people all over, share with them love, and learn along the way. i got a massage table too, and we will neverrrr have anyyy trouble eating with it! i promise you, i've dreamed of walking into restaurants, and saying "i'll give EVERY employee a 10 minute massage, a gooood one, if me and my good good friend here can just have 2 sandwiches and something to drink " =)) and, whenever we roll into a city, we can set up the table at publix or some other hotspot for people, and give free massages and energy work, where we can help raise the vibrations and awareness of townspeople across the country, just share with them love, and some kind conversation. other then that, i just wanna take it slow, or maybe fast sometimes? i dont know, just, follow the Great Spirit where it takes me/(hopefully)Us!!. go to festivals also***** festivals all over. work on just reconnecting and ___(the abstract)___. you know man? i know we'd get along so well man, i know it. hope to hear from you man. much love, and peace brother.

I'm interested in leaving whenever, to go wherever. Preferably summer of 2006 or 2007. I would be running away from my parents (though I'd do so by calmly explaining that I was leaving and casually walking out the door, waving goodbye to them, some morning around 7 A.M.), so anybody I went with would have to be ok with that. If I can wait until 2007 summer, my parents might let me go. 2006 summer, my dad wouldn't be too mad, but my mom would flip. Right now, both parents would have search parties after me--so I'd have to move fast (we have a train track going right past my house though, very convenient).

 

I always knew others out there felt like I do - needed to just, well, pick up and go.
But the sheer volume and enthusiasm here has really moved me. I'm a gypsy by blood, and it's always burned me up...a quiet nagging in the back of my mind demanding I just drop out of the system and go where the winds may carry me...

But here I sit at age 23, and here I seem to remain. But the need keeps growing and growing...a close friend of mine has been feeling it to, as has my lady...

I'm planning a train hopping excursion this summer with an interested pal. It will involve lots of camping and hard nights, but it'll be worth it.

I'm a gypsy at heart...I just wanna MOVE around.

 

watch out for popo. they'll toss ya in the pokey for a good stint if they catch ya hopin' on a train for a ride.

 

Yeah, I've researched it up and down. Usually, it's just the bulls at the train yard you have to worry about...and they don't really get out of their trucks too often.
