You get one post from a guy that wants to know the best lube to use to anal fist his wife's sister ! then another one about how this guys baby said daddy for the first time What the fuck is up with you OP its a great place !!
how much time is that? lets see; retired, not wasting my time harrassing and annoying people in real life. do i spend that much time here? i doubt it. pretty sure its less then i spend on just about any thing else i can think of in my life.
i'll admit that i do find idiotic threads to be pretty hilarious. i joined this forum a long long time ago, but i only became really active a long time ago. back then, this was actually kind of a bigger forum. not one of the huge ones by any means, but busy enough that new posts came in faster than i could keep up with most of the time. which was great at the time, because i was working 45-50 hours a week and doing nothing but smoking weed and posting on hipforums the rest of the time. now, i have a lot of other shit going on, so i only have time to stop by here for a little while each day. which again is great, because there's only enough posts to keep me busy for a little while. it's like hipforums is changing with me to suit my needs. plus, you know, habit.
I joined in 2003 and it was for the cyber sex. If it does not soon happen I may have to reconsider my membership. I am not getting any younger.
I've been on here for about 5 years. This is the first Internet forum I joined. For the most part even the lame threads are mildly entertaining. The community and mods also do a good job at weeding out the douchebags. I don't have as much Internet time as I used to but this place is like home to me. C/S, Rev J
This thread made me laugh. I've been coming here longer than anyone (although Drumminmama and a few others have been here for ages also). Do I ask myself why I keep coming here? All the time. I think it's because it's probably the absolute first forum I posted at, which was long before the version of forums we have today or have had before that. Or before that. I think it's just become part of my long-term daily habit of internet use.
Vive la différence! I've noticed that one reason there aren't more new threads is because nearly everyone pops into a good one and posts there. So it looks like there's less activity going on than there actually is. But in reality this site is VIEWED far more than Participated in, as you can see from the #s at the bottom of the main forum page. So you might think that no one is reading what you post, but in fact many times as many are viewing as are responding. As the OP said, people have accounts elsewhere, like FB, and don't want to have to signup on another site just to make a post, or just want to post where they can sign-in with their FB accounts which we don't presently allow. If we did, we might get many more posting here, but then FB would be tracking the activity of EVERYONE on this site... And once upon a time this WAS one of the most active forums on the Internet. But that was back in the early daze. Oh, and I guess most of you don't realize that 50% of Internet postings are now done by BOTS, not real people...esp. FB! On HF we ensure that you are interacting with Real Peopletm. Just like the Real Cheesetm, that a certain Pizza company hypes (but isn't real cheese), we have created an AI that acts like real people and have them posting everywhere on this site. You think Pressed Rat is real? Hahahaha! A creation of our advanced AI system... In fact, I'm not a real person, just an AI manufactured personality.
Seems like you just spent about 20 minutes typing that query, so this place must have some sort of appeal. I do enjoy this site. I enjoy having a place to visit to get answers to some of the questions I wouldn't ask most of the people I know. Things I would feel uncomfortable talking about. Anonymous feedback without ever having to leave the house. Most of the people are kind and interesting and it seems like we have created a sort of e-community. I look at it one of two ways. Maybe three. Sometimes it's like group therapy, sometimes it's like a local bar, and sometimes we just don't know what it is! A lot of people bitch about the mods (which, sometimes they have the right to do so and every now and then people get ejected on grounds that seem trivial to me, etc etc. Everyone has an opinion.), but I haven't had any problems that would cause me to dislike the site or anyone in particular. This place is pretty counter-productive tho.
