How strong is an acid trip?

Curious, was your dad involved with drugs when he was younger, or has he always been against them?
I know it is stereotyping, but usually people into that genre' of music also dabble with at least weed if not psychedelics.

 

This is what a real psychedelic trip be like.

 

I swear that second pic, the grid in the sky, looks like what I saw when I very first started smoking weed eons ago.
Anyone else get visuals when they first started to smoke weed?

Yes I remember that grid on weed. I still see it sometimes. In fact I see it in clarity on acid and shrooms.

Okay the first time your probably just gonna see melting walls and floors, but if you keep an open mind you'll be seeing dna strands and pink force fields in no time!

Everything twists and drips and melts and shifts, but get over it! If we do, it will get over itself and stop acting up. There's far more important things for us to consider, such as how can we bring everything to bliss, and leave it there! Force of will, which will still rely on number: a bunch of beings seeing, and saving nothing for themselves, save eachother

he has never done anything afaik but is not opposed to me (carefully) experimenting with my mind and health. as much as a father could be.

 

Cool, I remember when my older sister first moved out, I was 12, we went over to her new place to visit. My sister and mom were in the other room and my dad and I were sitting on the coach and he opened up a little stash box she had on the coffee table, took out the pipe that was there, sniffed it, took a dry hit off it, put it back then picked up the bag of weed, opened, smelled, touched, rolled it up replaced it closed the box. My eyes must have been popping out of my head. He looked at me and just said, "She's an adult and it's not my home."

You could have knocked me over with a feather! This is the same man that broke a sliding glass door because my brother was smoking cigs in the house and drinking beer.

But then again, my first concert I ever went to was Elton John, Yellow Brick Road tour (I'm old) I was about 12 and went with my mother and my father (mom was a big fan) I separated from them and just got stoned off my ass with some other people in the crowd. He never said a thing about it at all.
But I sure got my ass kicked when caught with some weed at home!


Now that he is in his seventies and has mellowed a lot, I do toy with the idea of introducing him to Lucy or Mescalito. Knowing his intellect and how he views the world I really think he would enjoy it and get a lot out of it.
Maybe if we go visit this summer I may muster up the courage to offer it, I do want to at least ask his thoughts about it. Would be a great place to trip. They live on 40 acres southeast of Colorado Springs with an awesome view of the Rocky Mountains from the front porch.

 

God i wish i could be like that to my dad. I mean im only 19 but I can talk about Lucy and stuff around my family but they think i quit.

I got caught a while back selling Molly's i had a bag of 250 of them Lucky i got caught by my dad and not police. But still he has had a real hard time grasping the fact that i have expieremented with drugs other than weed. Cause he stopped smoking weed a long time ago cause he didnt want to ruin my childhood.

I personally dont smoke weed. I ONLY stick to pyhscs because they are out of your system fast and are more spiritual then weed. PLus i dont like the lazy feeling i get off of weed.

And i was tired of the fact that i couldnt get school work done unless i was on tar. So i starting doing acid and school work and how i understand things just made way more sense.
