How Old Will One Be When They No Longer Are Able To Enjoy Sex?

I'll come back and tell you when I get there, I'm 72 now with no sign of stopping, mind you a pulmonary embolism kind of slowed me down but I'm hopping to get over that part and get back in the game of love making.

 

I have an uncle, who had an old jewish friend who sad "till my tongue can move enough fast I'm not impotent"...

 

We're in our fifties and have a fantastic sex life. I think it's because we're completely comfortable and know what we like.

 

All the way through our 5o's we had great sex and that carried on through our 60's and into our 70's, the only thing that has slowed us down is me having a pulmonary embolism, but as long as I keep trying it helps my wife.

 

Keep taking the (warfarin) tablets matey, I've lived through five P.E.

It does, the problem is our bodies cant keep with our with our brain.

 

Yeah matey, superimpose on the damage caused by the P.E.s, COPD and Pulmonary Fibrosis and you'll then see my lungs are crap !!!

 

Ginger in green tea. Boric acid in water and drunk through the day( half a teaspoon only), Garlic in anything you like, there quite a few things that thin the blood.

Warfarin you need to keep having blood tests, bugger that in Greece its 25 euros a time.

 

But with some women its different, all down to hormones, they get out of whack and wont go back.

 

I see lots of people on here saying things such as, "I hope to stay in shape, and keep having sex well into my XX's" (70's, 80's...whatever), or advising people who say they are having difficulty with arousal or what-have-you, to just "hit the gym", or some other advice that suggests that they can exercise their way out of their problem.

While continuing to exercise isn't bad advice, of course (subject to a Dr's. health assessment)...having arousal or ED issues is not necessarily a function of inactivity. Many of us develop conditions which may require certain medications...which oftentimes create, aggravate, or accelerate these ED or arousal conditions. No amount of "hitting the gym" will fix this. Additionally, if you're unlucky enough to develop arthritis, or some other degenerative muscle/joint disease...exercise can become excruciatingly painful, and may actually do more harm than good.

 

Yes matey, weekly but since I'm in the uk, our health service is 'free'.

 

My wife and I are still going strong in our 60's, and it is still wonderfully enjoyable.

 

Sometimes threads like this are hilarious.
Like 70 years olds saying "oh yeah! I am rock hard right now and could fuck 10 girls in a row!

Well when you reach our age your find out, but you have to keep using it or lose it.

 

But then I have been working out in the sun cleaning after our olive pick was done and sunbathing in the afternoon.

No point in bragging about sex in your sixties. Everyone knows it slows down somewhat. The difference is you are not pressured to perform. This goes both ways for male and female. Mutual respect is where it starts for a strong prolonged sex life. It also helps to talk about sex every day with your partner even if you don’t have sex that day. My wife knows when I need to fuck her and I know when she needs fucking. Communication is everything. Sex will die when “You” let it.

 

At the moment its not getting that much use all because of a Pulmonary Embolism but then again only 1 in3 survive it, it kind of knocks you sideways for a while and one of the things I like best is to shag which is off the menu 3 to 4 times a week for now.

Its not so much sex will die, and I wont let it, its a case of getting off blood thinners so I can get back on my herb and spices I take for ED and get my sex life restarted, they do work.

 

I didn't realize the odds were so low on PE. I had one a few years back and made it.
