More than once a day it's a waste of water, soap, time and energy.

I love showering, it's such a good feeling. I usually shower everyday, though at the moment it's a little more than that (8 maybe 9 showers a week) because I have a gimp wrist with broken tendond that only stops hurting right after a hot shower.

But they are short showers, like 2 - 3 minutes.

And yes, on holiday the whole shower thing can slide, especially when i'm camping. I try and swim in the sea and stuff when I can't shower though, I need to get my hair wet at least once a day to feel right. :)

I was hoping to be able to vote never, but the minimum was one shower a week. I bathe almost daily, but havent had a shower in almost a year - my place only has a tub!

i shower every 2 or 3 days. i don't feel the need to shower more than that, if i start to smell a little stanky i use a little patchouli or tea tree oil under my pits, and wash up in the sink. i dont like conventional deodorant, the idea of rubbing aluminum on my self doesnt sit well with me. even on other people, the smell of mild body odor doesnt offend me, it's really just the smell of a human being..

and when i do shower, i conserve water by getting wet, then turning the water off while i soap up and then turning it back on to rinse off. it's really not hard to get used to, in some ways i feel like you get even cleaner showering that way.

I try to shower at least once everyday but I conserve water when I am shaving my legs or whateva by lathering down and then lettin the soap set on me and then shaving and rinsing off. I get really frizzy around this time of year so I let the conditioner sit in my hair not just put it on and then rinse it off. If Im out camping though I know its not possible to shower everyday so I usually do it at least every other day. When the waters not available to shower in I will just wash up my body and rinse my face off. I dont mind if people dont shower every day though. To each his own. I just personally have to take a shower every day to feel clean and to get myself goin in the day:) Hahah

Normally once a day, but sometimes twice, depending on my mood and my activities for that particular day.

about 3-4 times a week.... About every other day. I couldn't wash my hair everyday if I wanted to or it because a pile of frizz.

I don't care to shower a lot; Though in summer I probably shower more often because of the heat which causes me to perspire and smell a lot more funky, which even offends me at times.

In the winter, it's gross how infrequent I shower... I don't get grimey or greasy easily so to me it's just not necessary.

However, I brush my teeth like 3-4 times daily because I'm obsessive about that.

    yay.

Dude whoever said you must be sick in bed if you dont shower at least 6 times a week, that's SILLY.

It actually is GOOD to not shower obsessively because it gives your body/skin a chance to build up healthy oils and bacteria of its own which actually helps aid in NOT catching certain diseases.

Anyway, I never liked showering since I was a kid... I would cry when my parents made me go take a shower, I always hated being squeaky clean. My favorite is the day AFTER a shower, when I have just the right amount of my own body oils in place, but I'm not greasy yet. Its perfect.

My hair always looks much better the second day, too.

Though I don't shower everyday though, I often wash my pits on days I don't shower, towel them dry, and put on deodorant along with some sort of fruity smelling body mist.

I don't use deodorants that have aluminum in there... Organic, natural deodorants are what I choose, that do NOT test on animals as well--- I LOVE J/A/S/O/N deodorant.

I don't care for strong smelling perfumes, so I stick to light body mists in scents like pear and cucumber melon. Mmmm

I think it depends on where you live. I live in a tropical climate with a high level of humidity, which means that people here sweat a lot more than those living in a cooler and drier environment. Believe me, if you live in the Philippines and you're outdoors most of the time, you want to take a shower everyday.
