How Many Young Hippys Are out There

I'm 17 in like a month.
Latley I've come to realise that I am nothing more than a soul in a mind in a body on the planet we call "Earth."

 

Im 16. Quite mature/intelligent for my age tho.
Im more of a hippie/bohemian type of person.
Im not really one for labels tho so lets just say Im me

WOW i swear this has been the first time in years someone has said i rock! rare.... hell yer you could i was thinking lately of getting like a twenty-person band playing the 'typical rock' instruments and then the more cool wacky sitar, trumpet, gobijan etc things. but another drummer wouldent hurt

I'm 15, and I'm not a hippy.

 

I am tired of being judged only because I am 13. I think the capicity to think is completely irrelevant to your age. I wonder what life would be like it humans didn't even measure age.

 

17 and a hippie

 

well in many places in the world they don't my **acquaintance** dena went to africa and over there many people don't know their own age. you ask them, they'll say maybe 33, 35 somewhere in there give or take a few

i am 15 and am a hippie, in the loose sense of the word. which by the way is very arbitrary(did i use that right?) but there's hippies and then there's hippies, you know?

 

it dosnt matter how old you are ive been a hippy my whole life and im only 16, im pretty sure i always will be and even if im not i sure am right now

 

i am 17. living life to the fullest. i feel older. i have much to learn. but i know that when you have a hippy soul, you know no matter what age you are. you are who you say. hippies live on forever. live on GANJA!!!!

 

how young were poeple when they figured out they were hippies?

this would have been a good thread to start over but i will answer here anyways. my mom always said i was a little hippie at heart even as a child of 7 or 8. then i went through that akward stage of my life but now, (prob about a year ago) i started to figure out who I truly am. And a hippie/bohemian is what I have found so I'd say about age 15.

 

I was just like you when I was thirteen. I ended up just not telling people how old I was unless they asked, and they could come to their own conclusions that I was older. I did this because I lost a "friend" when she found out I was younger than her, considerably so at the time.

If I didn't know, I wouldn't say you're 13, if that helps...

 

I don't adhere to labels, but I'd sayI'm inclined towards "hippie". I'm working on starting up a new counterculture though, so to speak. I think we need something new for this decade. We've had hippie, punks, etc. The whole counterculture thing goes back a LONG ways; look at the philosophes and the romantics, for a start. Anyway, we need a new one.
