Hell, I'll be moved out of the house by the time she gets older! LOL...people always get along better when they don't live with eachother...especially siblings.
i was an only child. When i was 16 my mom had two miscarriages. A few months after the second one, i told her she was going to be a grandma. She did NOT take it well. It would have been really fun to have siblings the same age as my own kids. None of them would have ever been lonely like i was, that's for damn sure!
My sister is two years younger than my older daughter, and two years older than my youngest daughter!!
I have one sister who is 12 (3 and a half years younger than me). We have out moments but I can't imagine not having her! I think we have a good relationship partially because of the good relationship between our mum and her younger brother.
I'm 19 and I have one brother who's 15. We've always had a great relationship, I think...we've always been really close and really protective of each other. We fight some, sure, but geez, don't all friends have their miffs? I love the kid to death and I think our relationship has bettered even recently. When we were little kids, we were each other's playmates (along with various kids in the neighborhood) and most of my childhood memories revolve around playing with my brother. Sometimes if he wakes up in the middle of the night and hears me sniffling cuz I've had a fight with my boyfriend or something, he'll get up and come to my room and spend precious hours he could be sleeping, just so I can have someone to talk to. That kid's something and I feel really bad for everyone who doesn't have a good relationship with their sibling. My boyfriend is 23 and has one sister who is 18 (and ironically graduated in the same class as me...lol) and they really have a rather bad relationship. Basically one of those, "We love each other cuz we have to but we sure as hell don't like each other" sort of things. It always makes me sad to see the way they interact with each other. They're different as night and day, but then again my brother and I are, too, but we still have a great relationship.
I'm 18 at the moment, and have two younger brothers, both of them 16 (obviously twins)... And our relationship is quite strange. I get along with one of them quite well. The other, however, I've never gotten along with. But as odd as it is, to me anyways, to not get along with a sibling, especially a younger one, we've become closer since I left home. I'll go home for a weekend or so,and we'll get along great. Heck, even over Winter Break, almost a month, we got along just fine. Distance, aparantly, has made and impact in a positive sense in our lives.
I have a brother who is 2 and a half years younger than me (he's 12) and a sister 6 and a half years younger than me (she's 8). I don't get along with my brother that well, and he can be out of control sometimes...I have quite a bit in common with my sister, but she's still really young, so she's immature and often annoying...but I like her a lot...
my brother and sister are my best friends. my brother is a year younger than me and my sister is a year younger than him. it hurts my heart to live away from them, but theyre both going to school. (hes in new york and shes in vermont) i saw them last at christmas when we were all back in pennsylvania, but it wasnt for long enough! we want to all live together eventually, but right now were all doing different things. last night i dreamed i went home back east and my sister was there and we hugged each other and cried. i feel like a mess without those guys.
2 sisters i live, 17 and 12. and 2 half sisters who are twins who live with my dad i think they are 7 or 8
I have an older sister and brother and a younger sister. I also have an older step brother and step sister and a younger step brother.
i have a 25-year-old half sister, Lindsay, who is getting married this weekend. then i also have a 12-year-old sister, Ryann, who i fight with a lot. Lindsay's cool. I love her to death and I love Ry too, but she holds all kindsa grudges and is always trying to piss me off and shit.
