I voted 21-30, but I'm not sure if that's right. That's what it was last time I counted, but I don't remember what I included in that.
with all the STDs out there today and that I wouldnt want to be with anyone else, there was only one and I wish it would be like that forever. I couldnt even imagine being with anyone else.
7 or 8, i have a hard time remembering, since im married now and that kinda stuff just fades after awhile. I regret 2 of them because i was guilt-tripped into sleeping with them and really shouldnt have done it. As for the rest, one was a one night stand and the others were during a relationship.
I think, if I am accurate in my current tally, it's about 24.....not bad in 31 years of life..I do have a few regrets, like about 20 of them, since they were the one-nighters.
Ask a Baby Boomer that question and you might be stunned by the answer. After all, it was the Baby Boom generation -- That's right, YOUR PARENTS' GENERATION -- that launched the Sexual Revolution of the late '60s and early '70s. So I think it would be VERY elightening to this thread to hear from your parents. How many sex partners did your parents have when they were YOUR age? As a Baby Boomer myself -- who came of age not only during the height of the Sexual Revolution but also at the start of Gay Liberation -- I'm neither proud nor ashamed of my sexual episodes. But I never kept count. Suffice it to say, I was polyamorous long before the word was even invented, let alone before its current meaning. -- Skeeter
Even in the 80s (when I was a teenager) sex was big. Excess was in and that included money, drugs, alcohol, cars, houses and sex-everything. Heck, look at the teen movies that came out during that time; and the music! It was all about putting notches in your belt or lipstick case. It wasn't until HIV became a hetero disease (in the early 80s, it was only gay men that seemed to be getting it) that people started realizing that maybe we shouldn't be shagging everyone that caught our eye...
well... you definately need 50+ in the poll. i've been with over 150 men & women in my life. been with the same man for 10 years now & since we've been together there have only been about 6 "indescretions"... SEX IS FUN!!!! safety is a must. i've never in my life had an std, nor do i plan on catching one....
Unfortunate that on a hippie forum that there are any who feel they have to apologize or defend their "number." This is exactly why I don't keep track! I know it's more than 10 or so, but after that I stopped counting, so I'm not sure just HOW much more... What does it matter? There is no such thing as Slut, that's a word used to control people's sexuality... 'cause really, what does that mean? Someone who has sex outside of a committed relationship? No "hippie" should be against that, lol! Someone who has one-night stands? Someone who does not respect themselves and engages in sex acts indiscriminately? That is not a slut, that is just unfortunate... I'm Pagan, and the Old Goddesses were in complete control of their sexuality and that's what's cool... And being 21 and not having experienced coitus is nothing to be weirded about either... Having lots or having none, it's all about choices. If you feel it wasn't your choice not to have sex, well, think about why that is... Are you not personally ready? Haven't found the right person? Maybe you're not swinging the right way, lol? Who knows, but get in control of it and it's all good....
Oh boy, far be it from ME to defend Christianity, but come on... I'm a Religion major, and that is not how it happened... Women started losing autonomy legally in that region of the world way before that, the Hammurapi Law Codes reflect that fact. And Alexander the Great's Hellenic empire spread certain values 200-300 years before the Common Era... Actually, the first Christians were very liberating to women by offering them the option of community supported celibacy... if they were celibate, they weren't going to be tied down by some asshole's heirs, and were free to come and go as they pleased. The letters of Paul that say that women should not speak in church are not accepted as genuine in the scholarly community, but are called PseudoPaul, someone was writting in Paul's honor, a common practice in the ancient world... But anyway, the current Catholic/Christian sexual fear is in large part due to St Augustine, millionaire freaky playboy that had an "epiphany" one day and gained much acclaim for his drivel... Blah, I'm to tired to type any more intelligent stuff...
10? I think that's about right. Only one of those I was actually in a real relationship with. When it comes to sex I somehow always end up sleeping with all my guy friends. Maybe it's because my mom's attitude towards guys that I think like that. She always told me that girls and guys are never just friends. But luckily, I still talk to everyone and it didn't change any of the relationships ( if anything it made all of them better).
Listen to screw has had none cos he cant find it let alone get it up ( unless its with a female relative obviously)
