is that supposed to say "wander?"
    if school wasn't important

My best friend is married and has kids and has just persuaded his wife to move to New Zealand for a year. He's worked for 6 months, then gone 'off' round the world for 6 months ever since I've known him - about 15 years.I've never wanted to travel abroad but I have been a busker for most of my life and did it 'full time' 2 years ago,and went all along the south coast - newhaven to falmouth, bodmin, birmingham, cumbria with just a tent and an accordian.Even in Britain though it was the best feeling to wake up to the sun and think 'where shall I go today' - I could've carried on for the rest of my life but everything comes down to balance in the end - you need the bad boring bits to make the other parts feel amazing - like going up a hill - its hard work but theres an amazing view from the top,and you know it's gonna be fun going down (well on a bike anyway!).So I got a job but this time I got one near some mountains and lakes. But anyway I'm glad I did it because whatever you ponder about or dream of doing it's best to do it before it's too late - or at least try.Cheers peeps.x.

i think i was meant to be a rolling stone. see a little of everything & be a little of everything. Theres too much out there to experience to just want to lead a 'normal' life. i would love to travel around my whole life, but it will probably never happen. i could do it though, i could live my whole life out of a backpack cause material things dont mean shit to me. but unfortunatly im stuck in lodi again...

next time on of ya'll go on a mission, TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!

Paddler hi, I'm from Cumbria, west of the county, sea one side and fells the other. May I say you couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place to settle. I love to travel, but the coming home is always special; the air changes when I pass through the mountains, so much colder and cleaner, have you noticed that? No matter where I go I reckon this place will always pull me back eventually.

I feel bounded by my darling lovaman. But maybe I could persuade him into going if I try a little harder. He's going away to work on a cruise boat over the summer and I'll be gone gigging around and about but its just not the same. Its not like I'm going to hitch hike to where I'm playing, I'm going to drive. Maybe I'll take a year after I graduate, no sense in growing up too fast.

Mmmmm. I wish I could just GO like that. I came this close to getting a big van a few months ago to live out of. It made perfect sense. My boyfriend is in the Air Force, and I want to be able to follow him with only a little notice. I need to be near nature. I love being mobile (trucker's daughter).

My mother vetoed it, though. I don't want disowned. Damn DAMN DAMN!

Me and my friend have made plans to go backpacking through Europe after we finish high school for like a year (half a year maybe I dunno)...We might go to Japan (we'll have to swim lol) as well, but none of us speak Japanese. But I'm deadset on going back to London and the UK, and I want to go to Czech Rep./ Prague, maybe France, Spain. China! I want to see the Great Wall...and I want to go to Tyoko! I wish we had places to stay tho...We might just buy a car while we're over there (we're getting jobs and whatnot) Ah well...I got two years to plan this, but if anyone has any tips on backpacking pm me please *needs advice* thanks all!

Am I the only one who wishes he would see the life of the father who left his kids? It's not much of alcholosim. Sry can't spell. Alcoholism.

    What are we responsible fore?

What about those who want to give something but have nothing and are in fact leeches on the beatuful belly? Is it a beautiful bellly? Is there anything we can do?

I honestly don't know if I'm part Irish or not.

When I read the "A Walk Across America" series by Peter Jenkins it set in motion a dream yet to be fulfilled.

i've spent a good part of the last 15 years truckin' off to here and there, its gotten hard to settle down now. i have been in the same place for 1 year now and there are days i hear that ol' train whistle blowin' and i nearly jump out of my skin. i know my time here is limited, but as i get older the stays seem to be a bit longer too. for me there is just nothing like the open road, its one of the last freedoms we seem to have anymore. anyone know of a nice place to spend the rest of the winter where its not too spendy and the sun shines more than not?
