In warm weather I only wear shoes at work. Any other time I'm barefoot. In winter barefoot at home or if the temp is above 40 degrees.
On an average weekday, about 21 hours, sometimes 22. At the office, I keep my shoes under my desk unless I'm going to a meeting with a client. On a weekend, 24 hours if we're cooking all three meals or getting take-out from a drive-through window.
I'm fortunate to work at home, so almost all the time. If I need to go to the store, it's sandals. Shoes only for church or mowing the lawn...wouldn't want to lose a toe.
And yet shoes will do nothing to prevent you losing a toe from a lawnmower blade, unless you wear heavy boots with massive steel protection. I know a guy who had to have surgery on his foot because it got caught under the mower, with shoes on. Shoes were trashed beyond recognition. I started going barefoot last year because I mowed the lawn barefoot one day and it just felt so awesome. Plus the way my mower is made, you have to keep your hand on the handle to keep the blade spinning, and it would be almost impossible to reach the deck with your foot while holding the handle at the same time.
Today: all day long 100%. Not a thing has been on my foot since 5 PM yesterday, and will hopefully stay that way for most of the rest of the holidays, aside from when I'm cycling (shoes with cleats and SPD pedals).
i dont wear , er, those things more than the strictly required time. if im free im barefoot all day regardless of condition: snow is rare and only lasts a couple of days if any. when im done shoes dive in a bag or fly in the car trunk. my weekends know no such thing as footwear. -5 C° here occur a often as a Halley comet flyby.
Not as often as I used to. I was barefoot pretty much all the time for 3yrs, now however I do wear shoes 50% of the time due personal circumstances and preferences.
when home over week ends or off days,24/7....when on vacation...the entire vacation, when I work...from the minute I leave my work I remove my shoes'n socks, and trudge to the station barefoot...so in short, when I am not at work...I am always barefoot
My feet swell up in shoes so I go barefoot all day at home and only wear shoes out in public. I usually where sandals out in public in warm weather with no socks.
When at home...always...bf to town, the movies, mall and church. When I occasionally wear shoes to church,my pastors get worried....and say they prefer me bf,as they thus know me.
i am barefooted when im home but i wish i.could go barefooted outside but cant bc i would scratch the hell out of my toe rings and i wear shoes to work but my shoes come right off for the drive home lol
