It was definitely margarita mix, and it was definitely very sweet.... yuck... it was cheap shyte, never again lol.

And since then... never again :D

Apparantly there is a gene for alcohol tolerance... indians didn't have it, europeans did... something like that I gotta run no time to do the normal checkups :)

if it was cheap than that's your problem
margarita mix is just bar lime...basically lime juice
for margaritas salt is used, not sugar

also, alcohol tolerance is built up now a days, i've met plenty of natives that can handle their liquor

It wasn't tolerance, I think it was addiction.

Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, a handful of advil, and as much half-ginger ale/half-orange juice as you can drink. After a few hours, take a two hour nap. You should wake up feeling fine.

The soup is really salty - helps you retain liquid. Also fairly easy to eat when you're feeling nauseous.

Ginger ale soothes your stomach. Orange juice replenishes Vitamin C. Advil for the headache. Nap to reset your metabolism/biorythms and catch up on real sleep.

some people do have alcohol allergies, to varying degreees - some cant have any booze, some just have their face turn quite red when they get inebriated (yes, thats a mild allergy to alcohol, cool eh?)

anywho. ginger ale, crackers or toast, gravol (anti-nausea medication). sleep more.

AND DONT FUCKING DRINK TAHT MUCH AND DRIVE AGAIN
jeez. drinking and driving is STUPID and a good way to MURDER someone and get your ass thrown in JAIL. arrange a ride home if yer gonna have more than one or two drinks

turns out the only thing that helped me was more sleep!
but yeah its pretty dumb to get a hangover in the first place since in my experience they are pretty easy to prevent...just chug water before bed while you are still drunk.

A hangover is just dehydration. Lots of water is the only way to prevent alcohol kicking your ass the next day.

Is this where such craziness directed my way comes from?

    Btw, better clarification here:
    http://www.indiana.edu/~rcapub/v17n3/p18.html

"We have shown that Native Americans, who have a high rate of alcoholism, do not have these protective genes. The one that is particularly effective is a mutation of the gene for the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase, which plays a major role in metabolizing alcohol. The mutation is found very frequently in Chinese and Japanese populations but is less common among other Asian groups, including Koreans, the Malayo-Polynesian group, and others native to the Pacific Rim. "We've also looked at Euro-Americans, Native Americans, and Eskimos, and they don't have that gene mutation," says Li. Thus, incidentally, the study of genetic mutations and alcoholism links native North-American populations to central Asian ancestors, not to those from China and Japan."

So no, I wasn't talking out of my ass... the link didn't back me up because I assumed google to be correct and didn't read the article... my stupid mistake :)

And apparantly europeans don't have the gene, again my mistake... I did say I didn't stop to do the usual checks in my original post, and I didn't remember who DID have it, so I rolled with the euro's, when in fact its the chinese/japanese who have the gene... was drawing from my possible indian ancestory research - so I was looking at things from a totally different perspective :)
