Ka - ru(h) - mel it's a soft A, if you will. Camera has a sharp, attacking A at the end. I'm all down with accents and people maybe saying things differently because of that, but it bugs me that some words become completely new words and branded American. Patronizing or what? and that's with a sharp A and an S- pAtronising
Dunno, but it occurs to me Brits have trouble pronouncing words that end in "a" without adding a little extra "r" at the end...whats up with that? (Well, Maybe not "camera" with the proximity of the other "r" ...that would be really goofy) ZW
Well, not to be pedantic, but there are many linguistic variations, dialects of the same language, different languages, different accents, and none of them are right or wrong, just different.
