How did your parents pick your name?

    My mother was going to name me Samantha after her Father, Samuel. However, my uncle convinced my father to name me after a saint.

    I wasn't named after anyone. I dont think my parents really thought about my name much, they'd already given their favourite girls name to my older sister obviously. I just got the next thing they could think of. I like my name but i hate the fact that there are so many people with the same name it really sucks.
