Oh please, you're trying to tell me to stop. Okay, well I have been a high honor student for 3 years, I have a 32k scholarship, and I have been accepted into 3 colleges. I'm pretty sure I am in good shape.

Also, I don't believe my parents are irresponsible. When I say encourage, I mean they have said "you can smoke if you would like, but please don't get out of control." I also don't smoke pot to be cool. I actually use to drink a lot and then when I tried pot I decided that it was more for me than drinking.

Why do you have to tell me to grow up? I hope you have not been mislead by any of my posts. I am doing very well off and I just choose to smoke while doing it. I don't see any problem in that.

So, what, do you want a cookie? This is the internet you can lie about all that if you want and no one would ever know. *shrugs* whatever.

If you didn't mean encourage, you shouldn't have said encourage...encouragement means they say "Yeah, go do it! It's great!" You're obviously not too smart if you don't knwo what encouragement means.

I tell you to grow up because you need to. YOu're a teenager you think you know everything...it's what teenagers do...but I'm telling you, it's time to grow up. There's more to life than smoking pot and at such a young age, if you're caught with it, there goes your whole life. Think about consequences. You can deal with everyday situations much better without being under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

    Oh...NOW who's judging... Please.

I don't judge people...I give them advice...and usually I get thrown bullshit. I call it like I see it. Just because I don't think like you, doesn't mean I judge you.

And none of you know me, just like I don't know you. I just know what I read on here and I make conclusions based on what is posted. I can't help it if you guys can't think before you post.

Tell me about it. All I asked was how desperate someone has been and I am bombarded with claims that my parents are irresponsible and the such.

I'm glad that you have expressed your regards to my thread.

When did you start smoking? Has it negatively impacted your life? It has not negatively impacted mine. Why would I have to lie over the internet? So I can be some e-thug? I think you have judged a little too much.

I know there is more to life than smoking pot and drinking. That's why I have a part-time job, I am involved in extracurriculars at my educational facility, and actively participate in community service. I don't know why you have this idea that pot is/will negatively impact me; could be inference.

I never go to school stoned, and I never smoke while doing homework or other school related activities. I understand there is a time and place to indulge in certain activities.

So you are not mislead, I have went to work stoned; many times at that. And to be honest about the entire predicament/situation I have stopped smoking atleast two hours before I go to work. This allows me enough time to not be impaired to an extent to which I am not functional at an acceptable level.

Well if your parents are "encouraging" you to do drugs, which is what you said...that IS irresponsible....just stating a fact.

I'm not stupid enough to admit I smoke pot or not on the internet...especially a site like this one.

Yes, we should all take advice from people on the internet who are in their early twenties, because they've been there and done it all.

My parents want me to party, have fun, and do what I like to do. They don't want to hold me back, because they know I have the drive and motivation to do what I want. They also know if they try and stop me I will just rebel. I feel that my parents have done a wonderful job teaching me life's lessons. Just because my parents understand that I want to enjoy myself is no reason for you to explicitely say my parents are irresponsible. If anything, my parents are doing a better job by being friends instead of parents. I tell my mom everything I do and I believe raising a son that does not lie is better than one who sneaks around and lies, cheats and steals. Then again, that's just my opinion.

I appreciate all advice you have put the effort into informing me with. I might not agree with it, because you and I, for the most part, look at certain situations differently.

Have it your way. I would rather my mom be my best friend than a parent enforcing rediculous household "rules" on me.

RULES are a fact of life. Everyone lives by them...you may as well get used to it.
