How come nobody's fav color is orange?

My walls in my room in my house back in Honduras (which we sadly don't own anymore, which sucks... because my parents let me design it and it was extra awesome) were painted orange with everything lime green and lemon yellow in it .

My brother's room was painted lime green, and everything in it was orange/ lemon yellow.

My parents went with some pasty light shade that gave their room no character. No fun.

My bathroom was full of lime yellow tiles all the way up to the ceiling, with a huge bathtub. It was awesome.

 

Sounds extremely awesome.

orange is def. my favorite color.

 

i painted my bathroom in our old house an orange/yellow that was extremely badass. and i put in dark tile on the floor and bamboo shades than matched the floor. i miss that bathroom

 

weird..i actually thought of this kid that i went to elementary school with who's favorite color was orange when I read this thread. He's the only person I can remember who's ever told me there favorite color is orange. I can't believe i actually remember that.

 

I love orange too. But the reason more people don't list orange as their fav is because there is no rhyme for orange.

 

I have favorite colors for different things.

Brown is my favorite for clothes, hair, eyes...grey for clouds and skies...green for grass and trees and flowers...blue for lakes and oceans and rivers...purple for nights and shadows...dark red for blood and satin sheets...black for cat's fur...etc...

Every color is my favorite color for something. I wouldn't want everything to be pink or blue or orange or what have you.

 

my brother, brians favorite color is orange. always has been. he's 34 now.

I've always thought that orange was a cool color. That and green.

The stairway leading to the upstairs in our house is actually two shades of orange. One wall (the wall with the banister) is painted Autumn Glimmer, and the the other walls are painted Warm Cider. The ceiling a pristine white. The Autumn Glimmer is a bit of a darker orange shade, the Cider, a lighter shade.

The "younger set" (meaning the age of 49 and below) seem to really like the paint job. The older set (ages 50 and up)cringe.

Ever notice how so many older people chose off white to paint their walls? Are they afraid of color or what?

 

Orange used to be my favorite color...in fact it was my first favorite. (This could go in the kid sayings thread...but I'm lazy) When I was about two or three my favorite color was orange so my parents would only buy me orange stuff....one day my mom asked me if I wanted an orange sucker and I said, "No, orange doesn't like me anymore."



My fave now is green.

Orange is a nice color, makes me feel happy...

I like earth tones, browns, greens and different oranges and so forth.. Fan of blue and red as well... Not a fan of pink though or neon colors...

 

same reason why nobodys favourite colour isn't yellow...

Ill tell you why I find orange kinda bland. For one, the orange popsicles are the absolute worst and least juiciest of the lot. Second, exactly, its just like yellow. But I like how for me, this equation makes sense: orange = carrot = triangle = 4

I normally like the 'cool' colours. Ocean colours too, like coral, turqoise.

 

I ate an orange Popsicle for breakfast. Aint bad.
