Awoke to snow yesterday. It's been around 25 F to 34F at night. I heard Portland was like an ice skating rink---they're about 90 miles north of Springfield. I love the heat and dislike the cold. I have roofed in 113 degree heat and handled it OK. Once I had a job on the Oregon coast and 1 day after I started the job, it snowed! " just shovel the snow off and continue," the contractor said. I said "sorry---I have an important issue I need to take care of----waaaaaay south of here! He got someone else to finish. Yup--wimp when it comes to cold.
Hello, 7C and still no snow. But we have plenty of rain . About 50-70km south of here snow chains are required on some passes. Regards Gyro
-2.. I'm still waiting on all the snow. Keeps getting pushed back a day, then another and another. =[
-20 Celcius (-4 Fah) on this exact moment. Finally forced me into wearing socks, and the fucking battery on my car drained, forcing me to re-schedule my plans because the damn thing won't move. They say Thursday is going to be even worse, with close to -30 C (-22 Fah) expected.
Yes it did. I went for a walk earlier and was worried I would freeze but was pleasantly surprised. I even left my jacket open on the walk home.
I just feel bad for the businesses when low snow falls. It'll get better, it always does. just a cycle. Next year probably snow in August.
Well, I'm still whining about my inside temp...it was 58F but has gone all the way up to 61F after using space heaters...but not 2 in the same room or that would blow a fuse.
