A working involved mom, who has stood up against the republican party when it was wrong for her state, and stood up and forced the energy giants to pay their fair share is the wrong choice? Why?

Inexperienced at what? Foreign Affairs, how much Foreign Affair experience did Clinton have when he was first elected, or Jimmy Carter and many others?

Should we elect officials that only have experience in this area, which usually computes to already being bought and paid for by these foreign interests, like the Bushes and currently the Clintons. Bill spends so much time in Dubai, he should run for public office there. (http://mediame.com/news/announcemen...ic_party_representative_on_middle_east_policy)
Dubai isn't a democratic nation. Sure it has money and power, but should it guide our nation and it's foreign policies?

I personally would rather vote for someone that is focussed on the well being of this nation, over someone that would rather place Israel's interests above the working people of the US, like Biden. Hell Rat you pointed out his Zionist leanings.

We've all seen where the experience of the Bush/Cheney administration has gotten us. Seven years later and we will never know who actually sent the anthrax. We'll never know what actually happened in Queens with that airliner, we haven't captured Bin Laden, we allowed Al Qaeda to enter Iraq, we can't control the Taliban, and now this crap with Georgia feeling enabled to take on Russia and further squash ethnic minorities they feel are inferior because they think they have US military might behind them. We the taxpayers are paying to bring Blackwater's armed guards into the gulf states again. I'd prefer to elect someone with real life experience in this country.

I like the thought of voting for someone that is working mom, and a governor that has turned her state's financial status around by taking on her own party and the big energy interests.

Think about it. When you were in trouble who did you turn to, your mom or your dad? Women are and have been the backbone of this country and civilization as a whole.

    According to this website:

she will energize the anti-abortion people and the pro-gun people.

Still she has not had a lot of exposure. She may not be ready for prime time. A lot will depend on how she performs in front of the TV cameras. Also, her strong anti-abortion stand will probably keep many disappointed Hillary Clinton women from voting for her.

The 'dirty' on her is that her daughter is going to have an illegitimate child. Also, a lot of people suspect that her youngest child, the one with down's syndrome, is really her grandchild, and her daughter's first illegitimate child.

If this kind of thing was true of Barack Obama's family, or Joe Biden's family, Rush Limbaugh and the boys would be in full cry. Just imagine how much fun they would have had if Chelsea Clinton had gotten pregnant.

I am glad this is coming out now. It is going to take attention away from the Republican Convention, and make it harder for John McCain to get a bounce from it. She was chosen in order to pander to the Religious Right. This family mess cannot help with Christian conservatives. :cheers2:

I think that argument ^^^^^^^^ is somewhat unfounded and uninformed.

Obama could have had Hillary as the VP but he chose the Zionist Biden. He could have had her supporters on his side but he didn't do that.

Palin picks up the religious right and Christ does she ever pick it up..

I am having second thoughts. Turns out she didn't outright turn down the bridge to nowhere, she only turned it down after federal money was turned off and kept what she had already received and used it for other purposes, like a hockey stadium.

She's just another political poser crying for more war. Promising an end to corruption, but allowing for it when it serves her purpose.

As to experience what administrative experience does McCain actually have. Pilots don't command troops they fly airplanes. And McCain managed to crash a few of them. He's served in the House and the Senate, but what does that demonstrate?... the ability to deal with lobbyists. Has he ever run a business? I find it strange he doesn't know how many properties he owns.

He seems to be glorying in the fact that the surge worked, but most of us that keep up with the news know there was more going on than the surge. What I question is that he voted for war in Iraq...has that worked for us? It's lead us into debt and hindered any progress in Afghanastan. Now at the convention he's making noises towards Russia, while Cheney is on a visit in that area. The republican party scares me.

If I hear one more war story about his captivity I am going to puke!

The press keeps pointing out that her claim to have turned down the bridge to nowhere is a lie. She keeps repeating the lie. People believe her lie. Yes, McCain's people are childish.:confused::eek:

She keeps repeating lies when she already has them memorized, but she's certainly not good when she doesn't have a tele-prompter! I suggest EVERYONE watch her Katie Couric interview...it was her second one, and Katie was very careful not to frazzle her...but she is dreadful at improvising her answers. It was painful.

And to people who are saying she won't be a mindless backer of Israel...(not that I really care about that but)...check this out:

Couric: You recently said three times that you would never, quote, "second guess" Israel if that country decided to attack Iran. Why not?

Palin: We shouldn't second guess Israel's security efforts because we cannot ever afford to send a message that we would allow a second Holocaust, for one. Israel has got to have the opportunity and the ability to protect itself. They are our closest ally in the Mideast. We need them. They need us. And we shouldn't second guess their efforts.

Couric: You don't think the United States is within its rights to express its position to Israel? And if that means second-guessing or discussing an option?

Palin: No, abso … we need to express our rights and our concerns and …

Couric: But you said never second guess them.

Palin: We don't have to second-guess what their efforts would be if they believe … that it is in their country and their allies, including us, all of our best interests to fight against a regime, especially Iran, who would seek to wipe them off the face of the earth. It is obvious to me who the good guys are in this one and who the bad guys are. The bad guys are the ones who say Israel is a stinking corpse and should be wiped off the face of the earth. That's not a good guy who is saying that. Now, one who would seek to protect the good guys in this, the leaders of Israel and her friends, her allies, including the United States, in my world, those are the good guys.
