How are your grades?

awww... that sounds awful! but don't be scared of public school, except for the food, it's a bit hairy!

Oh, thanks. I only knew of the SAT, (which I took by the way... 1240, but I don't know if that's good or bad nobody will explain it to me!) I just get so confused sometimes...

I did (still do) pretty well at school. My nickname was...very embarassing...big brain! I was all into school and studying until this year...I guess I decided to live my life a bit!

 

heh heh, not all that greatlike b's and c's, but this year is gonna be a lot easier 2 computer classes, chemistry, and drivers ed, easy a's man, well hopefully

 

i get mostly b's and c's but this year im gonna try to get all a's. hopefully what we are learning in high school will become more plactical in terms of what we need to know in our everday lives. its not like im gonna go to egypt and become an ancient egyptian

 

I got all good marks in my report... all 5s and 4s, except in PE where I got a few 3s and 2s, mainly in the effort column. And in the NCEA stuff I'm doing (you can get Not Achieved, Achieved, Merit, Excellence) I got all Merits in science and mostly excellences in maths.

Getting good marks is important to me, I guess, because I want to get a good job, and also because I hate slacking off because I always feel I might miss something important.

 

your 14, jobs arent an issue,worry about that in 11th and 12th grade

 

I get A's and B's. I am a jr in highschool. Ya its a public school ...lol. Getting good grades is important to me because I want to do my best and I plan on going to medical school.

 

Drpped from 2.6 to 3.6 in the last 2 years because I partied too hard and prefered playing guitar.No regrets.

Sure they're an issue. Slack off now, I'm not going to get into a good class next year or pass NCEA Level 1, in which case there's no way I'm going to get into a good university.

They're really terrible. I'm at risk of not graduating. :-/

I was at a 4.0 last year, but have something around a 3.4 ish, in my entire high school career.

 

i found out friday that my gpa is 2.6 something, im going to try to get that to atleast a 3.5 this year

 

Here in Lithuania 10 points is very good and the worst is to get 2 or even 1... I am geting grades very differently....Generaly from 7 to 10..Oh last year I got two, cause I didn't do my homework from begining to end
But in my opininion grades don't tell if you are clever or not...Grades are nonessential..Why?...., because sometimes teachers get wrong opinion about you and write too bad or too good grade ,that you aren't diserved it.....So I really believe that not on grades depends your brain or intelligence

 

i Have a B+ average. I think thats fine. And its good enough so my parents don't complain. I think its good enough to get into the colleges I want to go to and I don't think I'm overworking mysef. I believe in balance....and maintaining a B+ average lets me have a life as well as getting through my academic courses as well.
