went to the clinic for my chest pain. they think its some kind of inflammation of some sort, possibly caused by my recent nasty cold and egged on by stress and such. ekg, bloodwork and xrays came up peachy, so they sent me off with some naproxen. kind of a relief, but hell, they could have at least given me something good for the time and money i had to spend there
the naproxen is making my chest far less painful, but i'm taking a bit less than half the prescribed dose, so its not making it completely better, but also not tearing up my stomach too much. i can live with this
That ominous feeling I have around every birthday, afraid to even hope for a good day, because it never happens.
It just always ends up being a shitty day- everything goes wrong, plans fall through, or nothing happens at all. I dunno, when I was young I attributed it to high expectations, but now I've grown to expect it to be shitty---and it is still usually shitty. ...and now I am getting too close to thirty and thats not so great either.
Oh dear. Sorry to hear that. It always sucks when your birthday is shitty. So, every birthday passes and you have no good memories? That is a shame. Perhaps you need to make your birthday just for you...be alone and do something where the only person that can let you down is you. If you still have a shitty day. Perhaps it's time to throw yourself off a bridge, or something.
LOL. I usually have a decent day somewhere around my birthday... just not that day. I have had birthdays all alone, but they weren't planned to be...and that sort of sucked too.I guess I should've thrown myself off a bridge.
I was going to say, did you atleast have a good day around your birthdate. I guess most people only have the weekend where a lot of people are free...or they have the opportunity to do something. Some clever sod might be able to work out the chances of your birthday falling on a Saturday or Sunday. It's quite suprising anybody has a good day on their birthday, really (that bit was designed to make you feel better). It's certainly getting to look that way.
I noticed that you were on your 24hour shift last night, right? Have you found out if it is against the law yet? It's gotta be.
