Ya it does make you wonder.... DONT THEY HAVE THIER OWN MINDS???? They should stand up FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE (Not act like puppets and act on what others are telling them is right)
um, so now they're planning on rewriting the constitution? excuse me, free speech is our right. they can go to hell if they don't like what their country is thinking!
if they are going to arrest Christian activist,i dont have any problem with this law. oh yea this law is only passed in the usa haha, this is a free countire, phaha
Luckily, it seems as though enough people are awake in our society to these injustices that the government is committing. This could, in large part be due to the impossibility of total censorship across the internet. There will always be new proxy servers, and there will always be a new way to get the real information out there. Viva la internet!
Ron Paul was one of only three congressmen that voted against this draconian law-thank you Ron Paul!!!! Here's a breakdown of the voting on this bill: http://bonjupatten.com/2012/03/05/w...ll-your-state-reps-and-demand-an-explanation/
I have seen what this world has come to, and this is actually no surprise to me. They take away our right to assemble peaceful gatherings, and are working on taking our freedom of speech. I was wrongfully detained on June 9th or so, me and some friends were at Acacia Park in Colorado Springs. We werent occupying or protesting anything. We were detained with out cause, and I got hit in the face by a lovely officer and receive a unreasonable ticket and fine. Their grounds were that we were attempting a Occupy. Really we were setting up early for the Farmers Market, we just had art that was Anti-government and Wall Street.
Oh I know, I do chalk drawings at the parks cuz I do a free art class for children every Saturday and I get told to leave or I'll get arrested. Really its just because I look like a hippie and act like a Peace activist, I am both but still. I was beaten with a police baton about seven or so good swings, it hurt like no other and split my left temple into my hair line open on the second blow. Twenty-two stitches later and I now have a scar that is pretty noticeable.
That is horrible! Over in this thread, http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=438089&page=19, post #189, starts talking about the study conducted on NYPD.
That is messed up. The only thing that can really anger me is unnecessary violence. I would hear stuff from other Occupiers about how they were beaten too. tazed, and or pepper sprayed.
