I'll use Moony's saying... Having him in a debate is a lot like fucking for virginity. Makes no damn sense sometimes.

 

You know I hate to say this but some people are just going to be homophobes. Just deal with it. Some people are ignorant and don't like certain ethnic, religous, or sexuality groups. The thing is that people aren't perfect. So even though most people don't want to be or don't even mean to be, they can sometimes be racist or sexist or homophobe or whatever.

It can be hard sometimes. Especially in a situation where let's say you don't know many of a certain type of people like you don't know many homosexuals. Sometimes what happens is whatever you think of them turns out to be what you think of the entire group.

Nobody's perfect and we shouldn't expect everyone to be perfect. If someone makes a racist or offensive remark, at some time in the near future or at the moment, pull them aside and explain to them that what they're saying isn't nessessarily true. If we all help each other we can live better.

Now, there is one exception, but at the current moment I don't know what it is.

See dude, I'm thinking that eventually it'll be like the women's lib, black rights, etc. movements. We won't stop fighting for rights (especially regarding marriage and adoption), and eventually they'll give inWe just gotta try harder because close-minded people who take every single thing in the bible literally and use it as an excuse to be hateful to others are stopping it. Religion is a big institution, so it might require more effort/time, but then again, it's already legal in some states and provinces, so you never know.
