I read a lot of these complicated extraction processes and am reminded that the brothers in the jungles of south america use a solvent called WATER to extract DMT. As far as I know water is easy to aquire and is non-carcenogenic. Any extraction that requires more than water or maybe high test alcohol is often a waste of time for the average joe. Try this. 1) extract with alcohol...three times over three weeks using heat if it can be done safely. IF and only if you are going to defat the extract then acidify (some of the alkaloid can be extracted as base by alcohol and acidification locks it up in a water soluable form. Free base will be lost in the defatting process). 2) concentrate the extract to a thick syrup state then delute with an EQUAL volumn of water. Then reduce by half to remove the last of the alcohol...again only if you are going to defat. 3) defat the water solution or skip this step and then.... 4) concentrate and dry the extract. In the last stages of drying use a MINIMUM of dry leafy material to help absorb the gooey extract. 5) smoke........ The entire process can be done with slightly acidic water (10-15 drops HCL per liter of water). It is really that easy, too.
You'd have to ingest a large dose to get a good effect...but theoretically, yes, you could. But you'd also have to have some sort of MAOI in you.
You can also brew some Ayahuasca as well, although that also requires the consumption of an MAOI (which has the potential to fuck you up if you eat certain foods while it's still in your system).
Im gonna say that your best bet is going to a soap making place for good lye. You need to powder your dried plant material in a coffee grinder. Using a large open mouth jar you would add solutions of 1tblsp NaOH to 150ml distilled water. adding as much of this solution combination till you had a soupy powdery mud. you would have to close the jar lid and roll the jar 100x on the floor to mix it all up. Make sure it is soupy. If it gets thick add another dose of the NaOH solution. Let the exthermic heat of the alchemical process return to room temp. This will signify that the solution is basic. Give it about 30 min to cool. Use pharmacutical grade petrolium ether (naptha) to extract the basic DMT from your solution. Maybe the zippo fluid will be cleaner then hardware store bought. but I need to look into that one. You need to add 1/3 the amount of naptha to your basic DMT soup. Roll your jar 100x then carefully remove the clear upper layer of naptha. Using fresh naptha each time extract the soup 3x with fresh naptha. Gather all the naptha together and evaporate in a dark cool place. Scrape up DMT freebase. This is smokable but Im not sure if you could use it orally with an maoi. using pharmaceutical grade hydrochloride or muratic acid 1 drop per every 25ml of distilled water. Make enough hydrochloric solution to dissolve your DMT freebase powder into. Shake and re-evaporate to produce DMT HCL. You can use this method using syrian rue soup to make harmaline freebase or HCL. I dont know if harmaline freebase will work orally. I believe it needs to be in a stable salt form. Harmaline HCL. You now have the ability to produce Pharmauasca. You guys will have to get the detail alkaloid weight for dosage. I believe its 125mg harmaline to 65mg DMT. But I need to look more into that.
You forgot to add that you have to add the NaOH slowly to keep your jars from cracking. Very important info for a n00b. You don't want water and partially reacted lye spiling in your floor. Also, if you're not gonna use a pH test, you should add 1 gram of lye per 15 ml of water per 1 gram of MHRB. You can tell that it's done reacting when it looks like soy sauce and smells like a combination of DMT and fish oil. Naptha is not ether. But you do use naptha to extract the freebase from the aqueous solution. No, you definitely don't need that much. I'd add about 300 ml MAX for 1 lb of MHRB per pull. *Letting the emulsion settle out and the layers separate before siphoning the naptha out. Keep pulling until you don't get anymore. 3 times doesn't always do it. No, don't do that at all. Evaporate it all down until it's cloudy, or until you only have about 150-200 ml left. Let it cool just a little, then pour it into a gallon-sized Ziplock bag. Hold it by the corner for a 10-15 minutes and you should see a layer of oil and maybe some pieces of MHRB settle on the bottom. Use a safety pin to poke a hole in the corner of the bag and let the oil drain off, being careful not to lose any naptha, although it would be better to lose a small amount of naptha than to have oil in your bag. Drain the naptha back into a Mason jar. Throw that in the freezer and get it as cold as possible for about 8-12 hours. After that time, pull it out and use a butterknife to loosen crystals that are stuck to the jar. Put it back into the freezer for 5-10 minutes with the lid off while you set up a coffee filter in a funnel in another Mason jar. Very quicly pour the naptha through the coffee filter. It's important that it stays as cold as possible. Pour the naptha into an evaporation tray. It'll still have a little DMT in it. Let the (most likely white) DMT in the filter dry, scrape it all into the center of the filter, then put it back into the funnel. Pour just a little (maybe 50 ml) of freezing-cold non-sudsy ammonia over it. Discard the ammonia. Let it dry, scrape your crystals up and smoke. This will not work whatsoever.
Half a gram from a pound of mimosa?! You need a new TEK. 2 pounds (907grammes, nearly a kilo) of MHRB if extracted correctly will yield 9 grams + in my experience. My yields are consistently in the 0.8%-1.2% range. Not to brag, I know many more consistently hit higher figures than that. 100grams extracted bark will yield me a gram of lovely clean spice.
thats how much people will charge up to a gram around here if its real good, because no one ever has it. but ive seen it sold any where from 80$ a gram to 150$ depending on how much u buying
