This isn't a thread about how cyanide affects the human body. And unless you can state the purpose of how it relates as a sidebar - you're just babbling.

 

Perhaps all the components were not combined in the manner that is used in modern executions.

Edit to add : It is done in modern executions to make the death more humane and cause less suffering, not something the Third Reich was big on. .

With all due respect, Heat, that's not an answer to what I posted concerning the hazards of handling bodies and hair which have absorbed cyanide gas. What I posted about that stands. Also, what about the Sonderkommandos job of cleaning up the chamber to make it completely clean after hauling the bodies out? What would that kind of contact--and remember we're talking lots and lots of bodies--do to the ones doing that job with no protection?

We are not ever going to probably agree on this subject but you are entitled to believe what you wish to. That does not necessarily make it accurate.

The point of free speech is that he has the right to think and say what he wishes as long as he does not incite violence or hate. As much as I disagree with him, he has not done that.

That goes for all of us. If we restrict someone's freedom then it means ours is also.

Wars were fought for us to be able to have this, I am not willing to give up mine so I must grant the same right to others.

At your age, you should understand a few simple concepts of respect. One of them is that if you don't show respect for yourself and others - you won't earn legitimate respect. Also... Don't poke the bear if you don't want it to bite

 

My view is simply that, according to what is known about cyanide, and about the consequenses of having prolonged contact with hundreds or thousands of bodies that have received a lethal dose, unprotected workers would not survive long. And after all of that contact, they were also forced to clean the chambers completely enough that the next group of jews would not know that anything ever happened before they arrived. I have a hard time believing that such thorough contact with cyanide would not cause a surviving Sonderkommando to mention being poisoned.
