Why should ALL the jews have to be forgiven?

Its a murky story, and I don't believe wanyone knows the truth of what happened, so it seems extreme that a whole religion would need to be forgiven, even if a jew or a couple jews killed him.

It's a primitive us vs them mentality.

Some of the bears disagreed with the racoon and killed him. BUT THE LEADER OF THIS NEW RELIGION (which taugh forgivness umong various other things) FORGAVE THE BEARS (the ones who happened to kill him) AND MOVED ON WITH HIS LIFE.

He forgave the Jews that killed His son, like the Racoonianity leader forgave the bears, not ALL the bears, because half of them supported the racoon, but he forgave the bears that killed his son.
I agree it's a murky story, and no-one alive knows the truth of what really happened, if anything even happened at all, but really! give it a rest!!!!!!

I'm a total non-believer, but I think that if you are going to have a belief or non-belief system, you should understand why you are choosing the path you do. I don't claim to have great knowledge of christianity and it's legends, so don't come unglued on me if you think I'm talking out of my ass.
The reason why "god" didn't seek revenge on the Jews for killing "his son", is because jesus (so the myth goes) WAS GOD. God knew what was going to happen. Duh. He supposedly knows everything. So, from what I understand, god's plan was to live/teach as a human, so he could understand the human life, and lead people in "the right direction".

In any case, it's all bullshit anyway. Hitler was power-hungry, and completely insane. And christianity was just a good idea, twisted by the wrong people. But I don't even see the need for religion in our day. I say religion is for the weak hearted and weak minded. Although, I think if people want to truly have faith in something, they should start by burning every church on the planet, because when you attend church, your worshipping the temple. Why do you need to have a religion? ESPECIALLY christianity. Do you like living your whole life wondering 'If I do this, am I still going to heaven?' And who says the bible is even right? MAN wrote the bible. Who says the "facts" are even close to what "god" orionally intended? Just because "they" say it was origionally written by god? I'd want to see it come from his hands to beleive exactly what it says. More questions than answers....
Besides, who wants to live their own life hearing always in the back of their head "Do it!!! Do it or I'll fuckin spank you!!!!"?

Lets see. Jesus is the son of God. And a like thinker. Hmmm....so what ever Jesus taught would obviously be Gods word.
On that note this is one of the many things Jesus said of the jews:

Pretty plain how Jesus, and God, felt about the jews isn't it? Actually God had much meaner things to say against the jews. He ordered the Isrealites to kill them all - man woman and child. Unfortunately the Isrealites disobeyed God.

Now what do the jews say about Jesus?

Now lets see, if I were God and Jesus my son, guess I wouldn't be forgiving either. Especially since the jews are the children of satan, as Jesus said.

Read your Bible and you will see that Pilate tried to not execute Jesus but did so at the insistence of the jews. Finally, he washed his hands of the whole ordeal and the jews cried out for it to be on thier heads and the heads of thier children. Yep, guess all them greasy jews are responsible. Even the little money grubbers who are with us today.

The Jew is anti-Christ. And the truth cannot be anymore plain and simple than that. How could it be any other way? Here read 1st John 2: 22-23

On a side note of the discussion about the Lord and Jewish people.... as I pointed out with scriptural reference, The Jews will mourn in repentance when Jesus comes back. But also, Romans 11:26 says- "And so all Israel will be saved as it is written: The deliverer will come from Zion; He will turn godlessness away from Jacob, and this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins".


God came down in the form of flesh (as Jesus Christ) to save the world from sin. Revenge only comes for those who do not obey Him.

 

Sorry Epiphany, seems you have boughten into the Judeo-Christian religion, and not true Christianity. Israel is the children of Jacob, aka, Israel and has NOTHING to do with jews. The jews, as I have said before are Edomites and not Israelites. He is not referring to the country of Israel either. What chance do the jews have of being saved if they are not even Gods children? Note, Jesus specifically states that the jews father is "the devil".

I hate to tell you that, despite what you think, it is written ALL over the Bible that the Lord will forgive as long as you repent in honesty. I'm not sure what kind of Christian you are because you seem to think that God is more vengeful than loving. "Ye are of your father, the devil" - that comment is directed towards everyone who is of the world and not of Christ. Salvation is not limited. It is for anyone who seeks it. It clearly says in the Bible, as I pointed out, that the Jewish will ask for forgiveness, and God will not deny them. God doesn't deny those who turn to him. He is only vengeful of those who don't. You are very sadly mistaken in your walk with the Lord. His most important commandment was to have love for one another. You have a problem with Jewish people, you seem to think that Christ is racist, you are teaching your child not to even speak to homosexuals, and you don't think that Hitler killed enough Jews. Sorry, but that is not the attitude of a true Christian. I pray that you will come to truth.

You pointed nothing of the kind out. God was speaking to Israel, not the jew. Are you saying that Israel was the jewish "people"? Are you saying that Jesus was a jew?
