I used to write Luv everyonce and a while back then, but.. we lost touch. I have no idea what she's been doing the past few years.

 

Bring back the old chat!

I too was in on some of the late night hippiechats. There were some good convos and great folk around. I was SamIam there, and enjoyed the chance to get to know several of the folks mentioned, if even a little.

Any chance of getting a new java hookup? Lots of folks came thru and later added posts to the forums after getting comfortable there.

 

I've been in chat since December 1999/Jan 2000..

I remember you gruster. Not many people seem to remember me from back then though... Maybe I was just the wallpaper. lol

That's a good list of people though, I actually remember everyone on it.
I can't think of the actual date I started chatting though, but it must of been around that time.

I member everyone 'cepting gruster and His nick just vaguely rings a bell.. LOL @ samIam! Lottsa times we were the only peeps stirring, the wee hours right before philmy and io would wake up and get online...damn vampire hours,lol!

Ibinphukinov dropped by here a few weeks ago. His computer is down. stellaRsmiles almost never gets on and plays online, but I get to see her once in awhile at a show. She usually just gets on to do Walnut Grove Band stuff.

 

I was 9, and hadn't discovered the internet yet.

 

greenfairy, jim, gdhmomchild, all the late nighters made for a great group. Intelligent conversation is a rarity, and I miss it.
I loved coming in and having someone to chat with while I let the post band jam buzz recede! Re-up on that java chat and we would likely see a rennaisance for hipchat!

Yes, giving money would be a great thing. For a mere 10.00 you would get lots of nice added features and be supporting an amazing site the could use it and the reason most of us came and stayed and had so many great late night talks. New room is nice. LOL, full circle, back on java again and appreciating a good vibe again.

I got my first puter right around that time and found hippy chat and spent a lot of time there. My first good friend here was dark star from Oklahoma, but I don't know what has become of her - does anyone know her? I seldom go to hippy chat any more, but have some good friends and good memories from my days there. Happy birthday to gdhmomchild.
