please, hippies, come to eastern montana it's cold and there's nothing to do but it's really, really cheap and we need you...
There are several places i know. Are you interested in working on a farm? PM me if working hard is part of your vision
why not? [okay] if hippies all live in the same place their vibe will not spread there is no hippie vibe here [i shake and i shake but] every place needs a vibe or at least a vibe improvement
Make it a long term goal my friend. I have lived in middle Ga all my life, a pretty conservative and racial place. I am about to get married to a girl with similar ideals as myself and we have what we refer to as a 10 yr plan of moving. My goal is the Ashville/Mountian area in North Carolina. Remember, life is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep your goals in mind and constently work towards them.
Hi, i just joined hipforums. I was wondering if anyone could help me on my search for a chill college to attend. I live in central NY and want to go someplace within a few states of me. I'm looking for someplace with an enviormental program, good vibes, and interesting people. Any help will be appreciated!
The coast between San Francisco, north to the Canadian border. This is hippy central. Originals. Lots of long grey hair and kind business establishments. x
im looking to move at the beginning of next month, whereabouts r u in montanna, im of social security so i really do need a cheap place to live
tok ur- i am in glendive, but any small town in eastern montana or western north dakota is really cheap to live in my rent is $200 [plus utilities] for a one-bedroom house [600? sq ft] with a same-sized basement [i need lots of storage] admittedly this is cheap even for the area but in smaller towns i have seen even cheaper, we just missed a $150 2-bedroom in grenora north dakota it is very cold here in the winters and there is absolutely nothing to do in terms of movies, restaurants, concerts, etc if you like looking at the sky it is as good as any place on earth [there aren't even planes overhead most times] here there is great hiking and such as there is a state park with badlands of much intensity and wonder it flattens out all around and you are left with true zen nothingness the culture is weird--hunting is everything--but people are polite and if you are as well they will be friendly in really small towns getting food can be problematic so make sure there are some kind of groceries [usually 1000 population means there will be] glendive is a good starting place as it is not as 'leave it to beaver' as some other towns, we first moved to sidney and it was somewhat alarming btw for your budget concerns my wife and i [and oodles of cats] live on around 600 a month and you could do better with one mouth to feed and not having the basement [heating bill] or all the cats
i'm feelin you, but yeah there isn't much of a hip scene overhere either, so i could use that as an excuse to stay overhere i've looked up some pics on montana, beautiful nature! is there a lot of nature overthere?
what is nature? there is a lot of nothing here the west is the traditionally pretty part [mountains] but hippies moving in have driven the prices of everything up and i cannot afford to live there good thing i like nothing
ive been checking out new orleans, it seems pretty cheap, im gunna make some calls later today, after my nap
I think you should try to start your own commune...and bring the hippie lifestyle to where ever you are...it would be cool to re- start a new generation of free thinkers
