Because some people are just not very nice at all, there is a reason gay folks hate HS.

and as for me, what do you define as a hippy eh? I define it as a person who thinks that war, poverty, cruelty, etc etc. need to be stopped. That peace, Love, and humanity should be the way we live man :D

I don't dress like the streotypical "hippy" im more, neo-goth drag, than hippy but I still dress like the sterotype when I feel like it. Unfortunatly I was forced to cut my hair, which I had been growing long since I was 10. But my friends and I are starting a commune and we have made it known that we need more brothers and sisters.

Besides we are considered dying and irrelevent anyway, cause of course thats what we are right

P.S. anybody walk down the hall and get annoyed at the people yelling in the south park fat kid voice (I have no idea what his name is) "Eh, GOD DAMN HIPPY!!"

Hah, I get that yelled at me everyday. But it's usually said by a friend as a joke though.

By the way, the ''south park fat kid voice'' is Eric Cartman, just for your information.:ssmokeit:

    and

this is so true. im ashamed to be apart of a generation that doesnt stand up for anything. its pure laziness! anytime i try to stand up for anything at my school they treat me like a freak but honestly im fucking proud of it. because i say and do what i know is right without worrying about what people are gonna say or think of me.

and i know that the older generation did their part. you guys werent afraid to stand up for what you knew was right. we [my generation] have no one to blame but ourselves for the direction we are headed. and it makes me sad/mad because it makes it seem like all the 'standing up for whats right' that the older generations did seems to be for nothing now because of my generation. its awful and im really sorry. but thank you for everything that you did to try to make things better. i appreciate it.

i never really realized till this year how much of a hippie i actually am at school. i started an environmental club where we honestly do nothing cause we're really lazy but every year we hold our annual "earth rocks revolution" where we have companies come out to show what they do for the environment.
also my friend and i always take our guitars to school with us. we play them at lunch and our last class is just a TA [teachers aid] period where we dont do anything so we go outside and play our guitars.

and i tend to get in arguments with the security guards and cops at my school.

we have a park across the street that i was hanging out at one morning doing NOTHING illegal or bad and this fucking asshole cop drives up THROUGH the park on the grass and right up to the swingset in his cop CAR to tell me to leave. i asked why and he wouldnt tell me so i went back the next morning with a bunch of shit i printed off the internet about how he cant kick me out of a public park for not doing anything wrong and he was like "you sound like a smart kid, i suppose you can stay" i left anyway but my point was proven.

and as for the security guards at my school, i tend to be late to class a lot and when they're yelling at kids to go to class because 'the bell has rang' i yell back that we're not animals we dont go by a fucking bell.

and this is one of my latest pieces of art: [IMG]

i almost got in school suspension but it was funny.

so im either labeled as a hippie, a freak, or a communist cause kids are starting to find out that im a pure communist but they think i mean totalitarianism cause thats what everyone seems to think communism is. its stupid cause they are COMPLETE opposites.

and i live in bakersfield, the most conservative city in california. so im kinda the biggest freak in the whole city.

The environmental club we had going was great for a while...
damn the drugs. such a distraction xD

I don't call myself a hippie, but I have the same beliefs. We aren't meant to live life the way people have set it up...school, college, then working in an office or some other meaningless job for the rest of our lives. There's so much to learn and experience in the world!

In our government class my friend and I had to choose a political party. Our only options were Democrat and Republican, and we're neither. So we started our own called The Peace Party. Tomorrow we're giving speeches and I think it will go well. We'll get to discuss issues that are important to us..not just the usual topics like immagration, etc. We'll be discussing the environment, animal rights, and unschooling.
