    why would it annoy me? LoL. its a word. spell it however you like. spell it hippi or hippey for all care, as long as I can understand what ur trying to say, it really doesnt matter.

    For the sake of the poll, I voted no (who cares really?) but, according to my Scrabble dictionary, hippy means big in the hips and hippie is a hippie.

    I am happy with either way. The original spelling is hippie. There are more important things to concern oneself with during this short segment of the walk upon the path of life.

    Well, come on...if someone can't spell or form a compound sentence it certainly makes him or her seem unintelligent, and thereby affects the content of the post. iF sUmOnn tIpeS lyKe DiS I'll have a hard time taking him completely seriously.

    :) Just how I feel about it. Though I don't consider myself a Grammar Nazi.
